(The cost of disposal of silt / floating material / malba / waste materials etc. from drain side/temporary dumping ground (if required/ allowed by Engineer-in-Charge) will be paid separately under agreement item no 17.Drains above 600mm upto 1200mm in width and all depths / drains upto 1200 mm dia pipes. |
| 17 | Cleaning / desludging / desilting of drains/ sumps /culverts by Poclain machine including excavation and taking out silt, sludge, building rubbish, earth mixed malba, plastic bags & all type of floating, solid and semi- solid malba/ rubbish by manual or any other suitable mechanical method and disposal of this desilted material, sludge, building rubbish, earth mixed malba, plastic bags & all type of floating, solid and semi- solid malba/ rubbish received after desilting of drains for all lifts & lead upto 50 meters as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including submitting 02 albums weekly consisting of atleast 20 coloured post card size photographs (2 hard copies of each coloured photograph of postcard size) and a digital soft copy of the entire album. Payment for the work shall be released only 60% in RA Bills for the execution of the quantity & remain 40 % shall be released only after successfully completion of the work & also completion of the financial year during which work has been executed. The operation shall include (i) Supply of all materials, labour T&P.(ii) Arrangement of all safety measures as per provision / guidelines as per IS 11972-1987 & international standard including arrangement of gas detector, forced air ventilators etc. wherever required. (iii) Observing all norms/guidelines of National Green Tribunal or Department of Environment or other statuary body as per the law of land.(iv) Removal of all hindrances/obstruction, unforeseen items, permission from other department (Department will only assist in getting the permission etc.) cutting bituminous road, excavation/demolishing of brick work, cement concrete, RCC wherever required and restoring the same. The payment shall be deducted as per schedule mentioned in the contract for the portion of drain not desilted properly or not maintained properly as per recovery schedule mentioned in the contract.(v) Arrangement of traffic control devices, traffic approval wherever required, barricading, display of sign board, insurance of labour & machinery(vi) Videography & Photography of desiting operation (As mentioned in NIT) Payment will be made on production of video & photos of desiting operation.(vii) The work includes the safe disposal of waste obtained from the above desilting operation (the cost of disposable of malba shall be paid under a separate item ).(viii) Entire system is necessary to equipped with GPS is working condition & agency will also submit. The GPF printout for the execution of the work on daily basis on next day of execution to the Engineer-in-Charge.(ix) Agency will also produce/submit necessary evidence/receipt slips for disposal of sludge/silt/debus or floating material etc. at MCD approved recycling/dumping ground. Payment will be released only after satisfactions work proper disposal (Payment for processing charges paid to MCD shall be reimbursed separately) For drains above 1500mm width and all depths . |

(if required/ allowed by Engineer-in-Charge) and its final disposal to MCD/any other dumping ground, as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, all inclusive. (The cost of disposal of silt / floating material / malba / waste materials etc. from drain side/temporary dumping ground (if required/ allowed by Engineer-in-Charge) will be paid separately under agreement item. Note:- The payment under this agreement item is for regular desilting of any stretch of drain and will be made once only after its regular desilting for a period of four months and not on monthly basis though the rates indicated in agreement items are for per metre per month. Regular cleaning of bell mouth and numbering of bell mouth is also included in this item.Drains above 600mm upto 1200mm in width and all depths / drains upto 1200 mm dia pipes.For the period from July to September 2026 |
