| 1 | Providing and carrying out Integrated Rodent Management (IRM) services for control and prevention of rodent infestation (rats, bandicoots, mice, etc.) in DDA Parks including footpaths, drains, open and covered areas, and all other permanent/temporary structures, by adopting approved methods such as inspection, baiting, trapping, burrow treatment, monitoring, and safe disposal, using approved rodenticides viz. Bromodetene/Bromadiolone 0.005%, Brodifacoum 0.005%, Zinc Phosphide 2%, and Aluminium Phosphide including placement and maintenance of bait stations, use of glue/mechanical traps in covered areas, treatment of active burrows, minor proofing of entry points, periodic inspection, replenishment/rotation of bait, maintenance of records, and submission of reports, complete in all respects as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.Notes:1. The item is composite in nature and includes cost of all materials, chemicals, labour, T&P, equipment, bait stations, traps, transportation, and all incidental charges.2. Only approved rodenticides shall be used as per relevant guidelines. 3. Aluminium Phosphide shall be used strictly by trained/authorized personnel and only for burrow treatment in open areas.4. Contractor shall ensure Fortnightly/periodic service or as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and attend complaints within 24 to 48 hours.5. Necessary PPE (gloves, masks, etc.) and safety precautions shall be adopted.6. Adequate safety precautions shall be taken to prevent risk to humans, pets, and non-target species. 7. Contractor shall deploy adequate trained manpower with supervision for effective service.8. Payment shall be made, based on satisfactory performance certified by Engineer-in-Charge.9. Recovery for non-performance:a) Non-attendance of complaint: ₹500 per instance/parkb) Unsatisfactory performance: up to 5% deduction from Running/Final bill10.Nothing extra shall be payable on any account. |
