Dismantling the delivery line from the discharge head and suction column by way of unscrewing the required nuts and bolt. Lifting the discharge head and keeping it aide. Extracting out the column suction pipe, line shaft, spider guide one by one by way of dismantling the required nut and bolt and unscrewing the line shaft from each socket, then finally extracting out the 2 stage VT pump of 5 cusec discharge, head load carriage of pump, line shafts, sleeves, stuffing box and sockets along with discharge head to road side up to loading point with the help of skilled manual labour and then loading into a mechanical transport for carrying to work shop for repairs with the help of crane/tools, tackles using manual labour. Complete job includes cost of labour, carriage charges and hire charges of tools and tackles.Repair to stuffing box by providing and fitting of new bronze bush as per sample to required size after re metalling, finishing and drilling holes and making internal threads on stuffing box as per requirement for securing studs. Repair to top shaft by way of rebuilding with machine able SS electrode at worn out portions and then threading and making key way of required size. Dismantling the 2 stage VT pump by way of cutting of rusted bolts, nuts and studs and separating the discharge bowl, suction bowl from pump body and then dismantling the two stage pump to extract the damaged impellers and pump shaft. Repairs to 05 cusec VT pump by way of Providing/ fitting of neck ring of stainless steel material- 02 Nos. by casting, turning and boring to the required size and press fitting the same in the pump body then locking properly. Repair to pump shaft by way of welding turning and finishing to required size and then threading it and making of key way on shaper to the required size. Repair to Ist and IInd stage impeller by fabrication of 1 No. neck ring each for Impellers and then press fitting it on the Impeller and locking it properly and rebuilding the worn out portion with machine able SS electrode and turning, machining it to its original shape and size. Repair to stuffing box by providing and fitting of new bronze bush as per sample to required size after metalling, finishing and drilling holes and making internal threads on stuffing box as per requirement. Repair to top shaft by way of rebuilding with machineable SS electrode at worn out portions and then threading and making key way on shaper to the required size. Fabrication of new check nut of given size. Providing and fitting of new CI spider guide 01 Nos. along with rubber bush as per sample. Fabrication/ providing and fitting of 04 Nos pump body bushes. Repairs to 02Nos line shaft by way of welding, turning and making threads as per sample. Providing and fitting of 02 No sleeve for line shaft by making internal threads of required size. P/F of rubber sheet joints for flanges 05 Nos cut to required size. The job includes fitting of the pump using new nuts and bolts/ studs. Fabrication/ providing and fitting of well mouth as per sample and strainer to the bell mouth of pump body.Connecting the bottom suction pipe piece with the pump body along with line shaft with socket and required nuts and bolts and rubber sheet joints of appropriate size then lowering the pump in the sump using tools and tackles with the help of manual labour and existing chain pulley arrangement. Connecting all the suction pieces with required nuts, bolts and rubber sheet joints, line shaft with socket, fixing of spider guide on line shaft ensuring that the spider guide bush remain at center of sleeves.Fitting all the suction pipes, line shaft, and spider guide in similar manner. Fabrication/Providing and fitting of new suction column of 10 inch dia of 2.5ft approximately with flange welded to its ends along with line shafts, spider guides, sleeves and socket if required. The flanges should have 2.5 inch (min) collar width and 16mm thickness. The pipes ends should have been faced to accommodate the spider guide accurately without any play. The ends of pipes should have 04 nos wedge welded to their ends to support/ give strength to welded flanges. Then fitting the additional fabricated pipe piece before discharge head on the top piece of suction pipe with required nuts, bolts and rubber sheet joints, fitting the stuffing box with gland set and gland packing, fitting of ratchet assembly, then assembling the motor by providing and fitting bushes of appropriate sizes and with existing coupling nuts, bolts.
