| 11 | Providing and metalizing of structural steel surface of bridge members with sprayed aluminium of 99.90% purity with coating of minimum 150micron by two passes as per IS 5905, including supplying of aluminium wires,tools, and plants , consumable etc. or as required for the completion in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.The surface shall be prepared vby sand blasting throughly cleaned and/or centrifugal blasting,with asuitable abrasive materials like coarse sand in accordance with clause-III of IS 6586 immediately before matelizing,surface shall be made free from grease, scale,dust or other foreign matereials. The work includes supply of abrasive sand , fuel with all transporting, lead, lift and labour charges etc. complete in alll respect. Painting three (3) coats of approved paint on the matelized member to be done as indicated below with the supply of paints and arrangement. 1st coat with Etch primer conforming to IS 5666 followed by 2nd coat with zinc chromate of approved quality conforming to IS104 @ 28-25micron dry film thickness (DFT) followed by 3rd coat with aluminium paint conforming to IS2399,@ 20-25micron DFT each. (Total DFT 190 to 200micron) |
