| 10 | M&L for Earthing complete with copper plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers up to 90 cm and with tibba sand up to top level and electrode connected to copper strip 20 x 3 mm dia as earthing lead by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) connected to machinery/equipment / copper strip for lightning arrestor all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR-2010 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering, funnel, wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 chamber, PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 reinforced with 6 mm dia MS round bars @ 15 cm c/c both ways for cover 50 mm thick and MS frame of suitable size made of angle iron 35 mm x 35 mm x 3 mm, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The unit rate includes earth lead and protection pipe up to maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate to earth point/test point.(ii) Earth pit shall be constructed minimum 0.5 metre away from earth. |
| 11 | M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 Mtr below ground level. The earth plate to be connetced with earth lead of 4 mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire all as shown in para no 4 the earthing test point all as specified and directd.The GI earthing wire to be protected by galvanised iron pipe 20 mm bore (medium grade) up to ground level and there after with 20mm dia HDPE pipe up to test point. Earthing shall be include with providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (light grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) up to 90 cm all around earth plate further filled with 60 cm thick Tibba sand and 2nd layer with 30 cm of Magnesium sulphate powder (compact thickness ) , 3rd layer with tibba sand up to the ground level. Earthing shall also be include for providing concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work with complete all as specified and directed. |
| 12 | Supply, laying and testing in replacement cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded,galvanized steel strip or wire armoured,electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 35 sq mm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed. |
| 13 | Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 mtr deep in soft loose soil for laying / taking up/ taking down of cables and getting out and levelling of bottom suface to required level all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- Charge. |
| 14 | Returning filling in Including spreading, levelling. Watering and well ramming soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed. |
| 15 | Removing excavated material (ie soil) from site to a distance n. exc 50 mtrs away and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
