| 15 | M & L for water proof cement based putty @ 1 kg (undiluted) per Sqm of average thickness 1mm over the plastered/ old prepared painted surface of wall and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 grit or above to make the surface free from dust etc by skilled labour as per the following steps:-Step 1 :- Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer's instruction and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute.Step 2 :- Apply the first coat of the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application finishing the surface even and smooth in level without any undulations.Step 3 :- Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface |
| 16 | M & L for one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade primer @ 0.9 litre (undiluted)/ 10sqm diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine and allow 6-8 hours to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as specified and directed. |
| 17 | M & L for water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additive excellent dirt pickup resistance with low VOC less than 50, Antifungal / Anti Algai properties in two coats @ 1.79 litre (undiluted) / 10 Sqm diluted with water as per manufacturer's instruction applied over primed surface with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of minimum 1 litre per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in between subsequent coats of paint complete all as specified and directed.Note for item No. 14 to 17 :-The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall submit the documents under \\"Memoradum of Understanding\\" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, before the execution of work.(c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc(e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(h) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. |

| 19 | M&L for carrying out repair dammaged RCC projections,chajja facia, roof projection facia, etc in the following stages -(i) Demolition of existings dammaged RCC projection,chajja facia, roof projection facia, Staircase and similar suspended work and (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition).(ii) Preparation of existing demolised portion by scrapping, cutting, chiseling, derusting and cleaning exposed reinforcement, (cleaning of reinforcement done using rust remover), surfaces of damaged, loose RCC and providing cement concrete (1:1.5:3) using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate including necessary form work and reinforced with low carbon annealed wire in hexagonal shape 1.0mm diametre chicken wire mesh of size 25mm complete.(iii) Applying 1st coat rendering of 10mm thick in CM (1:3) over demolished concrete facia/projection surfaces and allow to dry 6-8 Hrs and cured with gunny jute bag. (iv) Applying finished coat of 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 using 100% coarse sand over 1st coat rendered surfaces and finished surface even and smooth with using extra cement and mixed with 3% integral water proofing compound and making drip mouldings as reqiured and cured with jute gunny bag for 7 days,complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.. (v) Preparation of surface and applying two coats of weather coat paint over a coat of exterior wall care putty to match existing surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.The rates quoted by the bidders/Contractor shall include the following:-(a) Work carried out up to 12 Mtr in height.(b) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and all protective measures responsibilty.(c) Removal of excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed by Engr-in Charge.
