| 8 | Plain cement concrete M-7.50(1:4:8), type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate), nominal mix, 100mm thick, as in sub base of floors, finished even and rough without using extra cement, to receive floor finishes of any type, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 9 | Reinforced cement concrete, design mix M-30 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc and mass concrete, complete all as specified and as directed. |

| 25 | Preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement paint over one coat of priming plastered and other surfaces with alkali resistant priming paintlime wash, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 26 | Hardcore of broken stone gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 27 | Chequered cement concrete coloured tiles, pre-polished, size 300mmx300mmx25mm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the colour of tiles, laid over 20mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed. |
