| 5 | Fabrication and laying of transmitter impulse lines. Work includes Fabrication of transmitter impulse lines using SS tubes (Size 12mm ODX1.5mm thick) and fittings. Laying of these impulse lines from instrument 1st isolation valve to flow/pressure transmitter and connecting both ends using proper tube fittings . If required, impulse lines to be fixed by using proper clamps, nuts and bolts.Note: All the materials will be issued by FACT at free of cost. |
| 6 | Laying of 6 mm/8mm SS pneumatic tubing from air headers to the air filter regulators or I/P Converters of control valves located at the plant site. Work includes laying of SS pneumatic tubing of sizes 6mm/8mm OD with standard SS fittings from air headder to control valve accesseries. One end shall be connected at air header tapping and the other end shall be connected at the air filter regulator/ I/P end. Sharp bends shalll be avoided and proper support shall be given using clamps for the pneumatic tubing. All the materials will be issued by FACT. |

| 10 | Dressing of Multicore & Branchcore cables: Work includes dressing of existing cables of sizes 20, 12 & 1pair/ 12 & 1 triad in a group of 10 -15 number of cables on unit length of tray on new/existing cable trays of various sizes. The work include arranging and dressing of the cables in ladder type/slotted MS/ aluminium cable racks/trays by using SS wire (1 sq mm dia. min) / aluminium flat strips (20x5mm) at intervals of minimum 50 cm on horizontal runs and 30 cm on vertical runs. The aluminium clamps shall be provided on the trays using M6 X40 SS Fasteners. All materials required for the work will be supplied by FACT as free issue. |
| 11 | Repair/Fabrication of damaged SS chute of Bagging Machine in Fert UC:Repair the damaged SS chute of the Bagging Machine as follows:Collect 5 mm SS316L plate from store or plant area, Cut the damaged chute portions as per instruction of Instrumentation Engineer in charge, prepare Provide new plates as perrequirement, full weld without any gap, grind the surface properly to obtain a smooth finish as per instruction. Chute Dimension is 30x30x75 cm.All the material required for the welding shall be in scope of bidder. |
| 12 | \\"Termination of Signal/ Power Cables, 0.5 to 2.5 sq.mmTermination of individual wires size 0.5 to 2.5 sqmm of 20pair/ 12 pair/ 12 Triad/ 1 Pair/ 1 Triad cables at terminal strips in Junction Box and field instruments. The work shall include, removal of outer sheath, insertion of printed ferrules, crimping lugs on to individual cores, earthing of shield wire, and connecting the cable at the terminal strip/ field instruments with proper dressing. The unused wires in the cables shall be tied properly with cable ties & supports and kept neatly dressed inside the junction box. Cross ferruling shall be followed. Adhesive type cable tie hooks shall not be used inside the junction boxes.Supply and installation of all other items required for the completion of work like Tin-plated copper bootlace type Crimping lugs, PVC ferrules, cable ties etc are included in this item. Aluminium flat cable supports shall be provided as cross bar at intervals of 400mm by drilling two numbers of holes at each end and fixing it with fasteners SS304-size 8mm with 2nos of washers. The fixing of the fabricated rack shall be by using proper aluminium/ MS angle support or using proper anchor fasteners. The work shall include supply of SS304 nuts, bolts, washers required for the fabrication of cable trays, painting of MS supports with one coat of epoxy-based primer and two coats of epoxy paint of dark grey colour. Breaking of walls, sunshade etc to carry out the work comes under the scope of the contractor.The Aluminium angle & flat, MS structurals will be supplied by FACT free of cost. |

The cables are to be laid from field instrument to Junction Boxes / Control Room and from RIO rooms to main control room. Dressing of cables in racks shall be by using Aluminium/ SS cable tie at intervals of minimum 1 meter on horizontal runs and 60 cm on vertical runs. Clamping of cables on structure shall be by welding and fixing suitable cleats. The scope of work includes making SS tags with cable numbers punched on it [as per cable schedule] and fixing them on both ends of the cables before entering the instruments, junction boxes or control room. The tags may be tied to the cable using SS wires.Supply and installation of all other items other than cables, required for the completion of work like Aluminium strips, SS tags, SS wires, SS screw etc are included in the scope of bidder. |

The scope of work includes fixing identification tags on either end of the cables before entering the instruments, junction boxes or control room. The tags may be tied to the cable using SS wires. The supply of SS304 fasteners and SS wire as detailed above is included in this item. |
