| 2 | Maintenance of grassy lawns, landscapes in residential & public Buildings, flower beds, hedges & plants including removing of fallen/ dry leaves and disposal of the same to the designated place, uprooting of weeds/ rank vegetation, watering, mowering, rolling, top dressing, maintenance of flowerbeds (seasonal /annual etc.) Trimming / cutting of hedges / flower plants / decorative foliage wherever required , uprooting the old & replanting the new seasonal plants etc. and application of FYM, good earth, seasonal plants, new saplings / plants, pesticides, fertilizers complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. FYM, good earth, pesticides, fertilizers etc. shall be supplied by the contractor, and shall be paid in relevant item of Part-B. However preparation of new flower beds and arrangement of diesel / petrol for lawn mowers shall be in the scope of contractor. The item also includes the cleaning of dry leaves from the lawns, mentioned below :- |

| 13 | Note : It is also highlighted that for all lawns, falling under the plots of non residential areas, under item no. 1, all tools & plants alongwith 9 nos. Manual and one Power (Mini 20\\" blade) lawn mowers shall be arranged by the contractor and nothing shall be supplied free of cost to the party. For watering purpose, contractor has to provide PVC Gardening pipe for each mali in above areas of required length 30m or more. Contractor should keep above facts in mind while quoting the rate for item no. 1. NOTE: The Item details and scope of item /work shall also elaborated and mentioned with full details/ requirements in Scope of work & Technical Terms and Conditions of NIT. |

| 15 | Note : It is also highlighted that for all lawns, falling under item no. 2, the tools & plants alongwith 12 nos. Manual and one Power (Min. 20\\" blade) Lawnmower for item no. 2, shall be arranged by the Contractor. For watering purpose, contractor has to provide PVC Gardening pipe for each mali in above area of required length 30m or more Party should quote the rates, keeping the above facts into consideration. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. |
| 16 | Maintenance of neem plantation farm of neem plants by watering hoeing, weeding, providing manure / fertilizers, and cutting of wild growth with necessary tools & tackles. Contractor has to deploy labour on daily, for round the month, which shall be treated as one operation. |
| 17 | Digging Holes in ordinary soil and refilling the same with the excavated earth mixed with mannure in the required ratio, flooding with water, dressing including removal of rubbish and surplus earth if any all leads and lifts. (Cost of Mannure or extra good earth if needed shall be paid seperatly) Holes upto 60 cm dia, 60 cm deep. |
| 18 | Lawn mowering in plain areas not covered/ maintained under item no. 1 (inside & outside the Factory Area) as and when required, as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-charge. Contractor has to arrange his own diesel lawn mower and Hand Held brush cutters / Line Trimmer for the same. |
| 19 | Execution of jobs of unsusceptible measurements, which are not covered under the item no. 1 of SOQ and DSR, such as watering to new planted trees, for guarding the fencing of orchards, prohibiting entry of wild animals in the orchards, erecting fallen trees guards, cutting sarkanda, excavating holes for new tree plantation, making new beds around ornamental/ fruit trees and other arrangements in NFL estate as per requirement, during the National Functions / Events etc. The rates shall include provision of all tools and tackles and contractor's profit. (Inside & outside Factory area). NOTE: The Item details and scope of item /work shall also elaborated and mentioned with full details/ requirements in Scope of work & Technical Terms and Conditions of NIT. |
| 20 | Providing items pertaining to horticulture and gardening such as grass, loose grass, specialized tools & tackles and any other related horticulture items, which are not covered under any item of SOQ.
