| 3 | M&L for premixed bituminous, macadam over primed surface of road using paving bitumen any penetration,laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) . Binder contents of premixed macadam shall be 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified in SSR and as directed.Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.(ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined as per IRC 27: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹ 57 per kg. |
