| 2 | Repair and reconditioning of existing 125 Amp LT control panel of 415 Volts, AC 3 Phase, 50 Hz at Lift Irrigation Station Khawas Khan serving 2 Nos. motors of 20 HP each by way of replacement of faulty/non-functional Multispan MPD 192 (or equivalent ISI standard make) motor protection device/fault analyzer after extracting the old damaged one by way of disconnecting all the existing wiring connections at its terminals and removing it from the panel enclosure. P/F of new Multispan MPD 192 or equivalent protection relay in its place and reconnecting all the control wiring as per the original wiring scheme. Setting/configuration of the new protection device for 20 HP motor parameters including overload threshold, underload/dry run detection level, over/under voltage limits, phase unbalance and earth leakage settings as per motor nameplate data.Replacement of 3 Nos. existing L&T MNX 25 (25 Amp) air break contactors of the star delta starter of Motor No. 1 which are undersized for 20 HP motor rating with 3 Nos. new L&T MNX 40 (40 Amp) or equivalent ISI standard make air break contactors comprising of 2 Nos. 40 Amp contactors for main and delta duty and 01 No. 40 contactor for star duty after extracting the old undersized contactors by way of disconnecting the power cables and control wiring and removing the old contactors from their mounting arrangement. Reconnecting all power cables of adequate current carrying capacity and control wiring to appropriate terminals of the new contactors as per the star delta circuit including interlocking connections between star and delta contactors to complete the star delta starting circuit of Motor No. 01.Replacement of any faulty LED indicator with a new LED indicator of equivalent rating, colour coding and size after extracting the old one by way of disconnecting the existing wiring connections and making proper connections to the new indicator. P/F of 1 No. new reset/selector switch in place of the existing faulty small black reset switch after extracting the old damaged switch by way of disconnecting the existing wiring connections, removing the old switch fitting the new switch of equivalent type its place. Reconnecting the control wiring to the new switch to restore the manual reset function of the motor protection relay after a protection trip event. Complete inspection of all internal control wiring of the panel by way of checking the insulation condition of flexible copper cables, tightness of all crimp/ferrule terminations at terminal blocks, contactor coil terminals, push button terminals, indicator lamp terminals and protection relay terminals. Replacement of any damaged or deteriorated wiring as per actual site requirement. Verification of correct phase sequence of incoming supply using phase sequence meter before energization of the panel.Testing and commissioning of the repaired/upgraded panel on full load by way of energizing the panel after completion of all repair works, verifying healthiness of all three phase indicator lamps at incoming section, checking voltmeter and ammeter readings on all phases using selector switches, testing start/stop operation of both motors, verifying correct star to delta changeover of Motor No. 1 starter, verifying display and protection functions of the motor protection devices on all phases and recording the full load running current of both motors.Underground laying of aluminum cable from from pump room to the 100 KVA distribution transformer approximately 20 feet apart, by way of excavation of a trench of 9 to 12 inches depth and 20 feet in length using manual labour with tools and tackles. Inspection of cable and insulation of all joints and any other locations found requiring insulation during inspection by way of proper wrapping with good quality PVC insulation tape in multiple overlapping layers so as to ensure a moisture proof and mechanically sound insulation at all such points along the cable run. Laying of the cable in the excavated trench in a neat and orderly manner with adequate slack provided at both ends to facilitate making of electrical connections. The cable to be laid without kinks, twists or sharp bends so as to avoid mechanical damage to the cable insulation. Filling of the trench with excavated earth with proper compaction using manual labour along with requisite tools and tackles.Removal of the old/damaged foot valve of priming pump of 2 HP from the suction pipe by way of cutting the rust nuts and bolts. P/F of 01 No. new 2.5 inch foot valve of standard make with appropriate size of flange, new nuts and bolts of appropriate size along with rubber gaskets/packing of suitable thickness so as to ensure a leak proof joint. The job also involves cutting of rusted/damaged flange from the suction pipe piece end and providing and welding of new flange of requisite size to the end of suction pipe piece. Lowering of the suction pipe assembly along with the newly fitted foot valve back into the canal to its original position using and manual labour. Securing of the pipe in its correct position as per original installation.Testing and commissioning of the priming pump with the new foot valve by way of priming the pump and running it on full load to verify proper suction, absence of air leakage at the foot valve and correct pumping action.Rewinding of 2 HP, 3-phase, 415V, 50 Hz priming pump motor at LIS Khawas Khan by way of dismantling of motor assembly from pump set using tools and tackles and carriage to workshop.Stripping of old burnt/damaged stator winding from stator slots and cleaning of stator core and slots. Rewinding of stator with new standard copper winding wire of appropriate gauge in same winding configuration as original with new slot insulation liner paper of appropriate class. P/F of new connecting leads and terminal connections of appropriate size. Impregnation of completed winding with class B/F insulating varnish by way of dipping and oven baking. Reassembly of motor and replacement of bearings if found defective. Fabrication and P/F of new terminal plate in place of existing worn out/damaged terminal plate of priming pump motor by way of removal of old terminal plate and fabrication of new terminal plate from bakelite sheet of appropriate size and thickness. P/F of new ISI standard brass terminal studs, nuts and washers of appropriate size and current rating. Proper insulation of terminal connections by way of PVC sleeving and ferrules of appropriate size. Reconnecting motor winding leads to new terminals and testing for proper insulation resistance and contact continuity using megger. Back shifting of rewound motor to site, fitment and testing on full load.Complete job includes cost of all materials, consumables including rebate on old/damaged components, carriage of material to site, labour charges of skilled as well as semi-skilled labour, testing and commissioning charges at LIS Khawas Khan. |
