Mobilisation of plants and equipments incl man and materials required at site of soil investigation, setting of boring/drilling/digging as required and demobilisation of plants and equipment on completion of work etc., complete. (which include conveyance of sample collected to testing lab as required for the purpose of testing.)

(a) Boring throughout the existing rigid pavement/flexible pavement /sand/clay/silt strata from ground level at 6.0 m depth. (b) Carrying out standard penetration test in bore holes as per IS 21321986. (c) Collection of disturbed samples at every 1.5 mtr or change of strata including packing and handling all complete. (d) Collection of undisturbed samples at every 1.0 mtr or change of strata including packing and handling all complete as perIS 2132-1989 (e) Carrying out Laboratory tests as per relevent IS for:- (i) Grain size (ii) Liquid and plastic limits (iii) Natural moisture content (iv) Specific Gravity (v) Bulk and dry density (vi) Shear characterstics of undisturbed samples using direct shear/triaxial shear test (vii) Unconfined compression test (viii) Consolidation test (f) The report to include clearly the following parameters:- (i) Safe bearing capacity of the soil (ii) Weather effect of high water table been considered or not in working out SBC (iii) Type of soil.

Conducting necessary test on collected samples which includes the determination of K Value Test as per IS specification.

Conducting necessary test on collected samples which includes the determination of California Bearing Ratio Test as per IS specification.

With every soil investigation report, a detailed site plan showing the approx location of each bore duly numbered as per log of bore holes should be enclosed, location of foundation of adjacent structure especially those that might be impacted by the proposed construction shall be shown.

Every page of the soil investigation report shall have name of job for which soil investigation is being carried out. All pages of soil investigation report shall be serially numbered, stamped and signed by the agency carrying out the soil investigation. Report shall be scrutinized by GE and CWE for correctness. Photographic record of soil investigation as well as testing shall also form part of the record.

GE shall Intimate approximate type of construction, utilization and dimensions of proposed building to the consultant, who based on Geo-exploration shall recommend type of foundation (viz isolated/combined footing, raft, pile etc)

Transportation charges including loading and unloading, T & P Technician etc complete from laboratory to work site and back shall be deemed included in rates quoted by bidders. M&L for disconnecting from the existing location cutting off worn out aluminium cable end and Supply, laying and testing in replacement cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded,galvanized steel strip or wire armoured,electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 35 sq mm 3.5 core including taking out existing cable of any size.
