| 1 | M&L scarifying or picking graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 sqm, exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100mm deep and removing there of as accounted under credit, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 2 | M&L 75mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with 10 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. |
| 3 | M&L rolling and consolidating road formation surfaces in cutting with power roller of capacity exceeding 10 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne watering as necessary including filling hollows and depression to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | M&L Preparation of unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or mechanical air compressors to remove loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | M&L applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 10 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen on WBM surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 6 | M&L preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags , air compressor etc to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 7 | M&L applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen on existing black top surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 8 | M&L Premix bituminous, macadam with paving bitumen binder VG-30 not less than 4% by weight of total mix (the exact quantity of binder shall be determined by design mix by Marshal method) laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using 10 to 12 Tonne power roller vibrating roller to acheive uniform smooth surface, complete all as specified and directed.Notes :-(a) Premixed Bituminuous Macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.(b) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined follwing the Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111:2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs. 60.00 Per KG of bitumen. |
| 9 | M&L bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete (SDAC) 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 10 to 12 tonne power roller and laying with mechanical paver, complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (a) Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. (b) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from NABL laboratory as decided by GE. (c) Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder content @ 5.5% of total mix by weight, however in case of any variation in weight of binder contents on lower side as per actual mix design, the same shall be ajusted @ Rs. 60.00 Per Kg of bitumen.(d) The SDAC will be provided on existing road also. |
| 10 | M&L preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like not exceeding 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer's instructions including traffic diversion arrangement complete all as specified and directed. |
| 11 | S&F in repairs metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wire strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4(150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed . |
| 12 | S&F in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mmwith PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 13 | S&F in repairs polycarbonate convex road safety mirror of size 800mm dia duly plastic framed back covered and provided with holding clamp arrangement having wide field of vision, exterior weather proof, bright reflection, anti glare and easy to maintain suitable for installing on blind curves over the wall or pole etc including round stand post 50mm dia made out of 1.65mm thick steel CRC sheet of total length 2000mm having hold fast at the bottom and top end closed with MSD sheet painted white with synthetic enamel paint over a red oxide metal primer complete all as specified and directed.Makes :- CAT PART No. OS-789 of make : OSCAR SAFETY SOLUTIONS or equivalent as approved by GE of approved MES make. |
| 14 | M&L providing and applying 1.5 mm thick road marking strips (Retro reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine filtered with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and propile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil greease and foreign material etc, complete as per direction of GE and in accordance with manufacturer's specifications complete all as specified and directed. |
