| 3 | Cutting and removing the existing, corroded, damaged GI 'J' / 'L' hooks provided on the roofing and providing & fixing new 600mm long GI 'J' / 'L' hooks with nuts and washers over the existing galvalume sheet roofing, purlins, rafters, channels and trusses including cleaning the surface and sealing the 'J' bolts with CI and bitumen washers including cost of all materials, cost of form work / scaffolding, cost of labour, Tools & Plants and all other incidental charges etc. complete as directed by the department |
| 4 | Removal of existing turbo ventilators on the roof top of the sheds including all lead, lift, loading and unloading, labour, scaffolding and usage charges of machinery & other incidental charges and stacking the suitable locations in Port limits complete as per the direction of engineer incharge of work. |
| 5 | Dismantling of existing structures comprising of steel work in all type of sections on the roof of the Sheds including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and transportation andstacking serviceable material in Stack yard with all lifts complete as per specification. |
| 6 | Structural steel works Conforming to IS:2062 [E 250 (Fe 410 W) A] with minimum yield stress 250 Mpa including supplying and fabrication in portal frames/rafter/beams /purlins made from plates/standard members connected to one another with brackets, gussets, cleats, bolted and/or welded etc., as per design direction, complete including transportation from owner's/client's steel yard/ godown, loading /unloading at clients/owners shop/fabrication yard, fabrication including preparing shop layout / template , flame cutting, straightening, bending if necessary, marking, making holes with drilling machines, fitting, making Jigs & fixtures, welding, hoisting, including surface preparation as per approved process cleaning of surface, etc., all complete including cost of steel and all other accessories / consumables as per approved drawing / specification /direction of Engineer in-charge |
| 7 | Providing & Fixing 0.50mm thick colour coated Galvalume sheets for roofing with galvanized iron J/L hooks & bolts 8mm dia of required size. The sheets are of hot dip coated with an Aluminium Zinc Silicon alloy coating with 55% Alu, 43.5% Zinc & 1.5% Silicon. The cost includes cost of sheets, transportation & fixing in position with GI bolts 8mm with CI plain and bitumen/ rubber washer with plastic cap at top etc. complete. |
| 8 | Providing & Fixing Roofing ridges of high width (1145mm) with colour coated galvalume sheet of total coating thickness (TCT) 0.47mm (50%Alu, 43% Zinc 1.5 to 1.6% silicon) . Fixed to the purlins with galvanized iron J/L hooks, bolts, MS brackets of size 25x10mm and nut 8mm dia with CI plain bitumen/rubber washer with rubber cap at the top of the bolt. Ends of the sheets shall be stitched with screws to prevent lifting including cost of all materials, labour etc. complete |
| 9 | Providing and applying two coats of Epoxy paint over two coats of Epoxy Primer to structural steel members and a final correction coat of epoxy paint at site including all labour charges and materials etc., complete |
| 10 | Providing, Supplying & fixing turbo ventilators including transparent sheet with necessary fixing arrangements as per specification including cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding and usage charges of machinery & other incidental charges complete as per the direction of engineer incharge of work. |
| 11 | Finishing with Epoxy paint (two coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications excluding priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete. On steel work including preparing the surface after thorougly cleaning oil, grease, dirt and foreign matter, cost of materials, labour complete as per specifications and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. |
