| 51 | M & L for Earthing complete with GI earth plate, electrode, 600x600x6.0 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) filled with common salt and charcoal and connected to GI earth strip 25 x 4 mm thick by means of GI nuts, bolts, & washers as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I and Connected to earthing test point all as specified and including necessary PCC earth pit chamber of 1:3:6 and chamber cover of 50mm thick PCC 1:2:4 with 6mm dia mild steel reinforcement of 10 cm c/c spacing both ways in lieu of CI cover, watering arrangement shall be made with GI pipe light grade of 20mm dia including funnel and protection to earth lead shall be provided with GI pipe light grade 40 mm dia unto 7.5 from the earth plate electrode & refilling of soil etc including necessary excavation & earth work in any strata and PCC work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge including demolish existing earth pit taking out old materials.Note:If the desire earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost |
