Dismantaling the failed faulty Vaccum Circuit Breaker from the substation by using crane and fitting spare VCB in place of faulty VCB. Proper foundation should be secured for fitting repaired VCB in place of existing set-up. The dismantling & installation work should be completed in 4 hrs. of shutdown time.

Repair and overhauling of 33KV, 1250 Amps outdoor VCB of CG make. The work involved is dismantaling the tripping/charging mechanical replacement of defective charging mechanism and charging the coil. Servicing of charging coil. Assembling the entire mechanism & connecting the VCB into the system and testing the VCB on load after carrying out repair work.
