| 1 | Cutting and Raking out old sealing compound including damaged filler board and back up rod from the old existing expansion joints of size 25 to 35 mm wide including cleaning the joints portion throughly to ensure dust free using compressed air by air blower and filled pre moulded compressible synthetic filler board as per manufacturer instruction and provision of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polythene foam back up rod of 35mm to 45mm dia or more, over 25mm to 35mm thick pre moulded compressive filler board, priming vertical top surface and 15 mm filled with polysulphide base sealant (complying with IRC-57-2018 (latest version), with min MAF +30% with 10 years performance guarantee) and finishing the joints properly leaving 3 mm gap from top surface of concrete, applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant to give neat finish to sealant and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant all as per the directions of the manufacturer, complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.(Note : (i) polysulphide Sealant should be filled by Sealant filler Gun only (ii) Detail measurement with location and purchase voucher of sealant entered in measurement book before payment (iii) Work shall not be executed where execution of works already under guarantee period (iv) All work executed in presence of Engineer-in-Charge or JE (Civ)). |

| 3 | M & L for broken spalled edges of joints, grooves cutting etc of existing concrete slab by cutting/forming, square/recangular grooves of size 25 to 50 mm wide and 20 to 30 mm deep with mechnical cutter wider towards bottom to form key with the existing quality concrete, cleaning & dusting the grooves using compressed air to remove all dust and dirt by air blower and repairing with elastomeric concrete after application of specified primer and removal of rubbish to distance exceeding 250mtr and not exceeding 500mtr and depositing complete all specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Note : (i) Detail measurement with location and purchase voucher of materials entered in measurement book before payment (ii) Work shall not be executed where execution of works already under guarantee period (iii) All work executed in presence of Engineer-in-Charge or JE (Civ)). |
| 4 | M&L for Brick work with fly ash bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:6) after demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on other than fair faces of brick wall or concrete surface or on one side of lathing fair faces of brick works in cement mortar (1:4), finished even and fair face without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. |

| 8 | M&L for preparation of previously treated surface to receive painting and applying water based road/runway pavement marking paint as in painting lines, dashes, arrows letters etc on roads/ runway pavement and the like exceeding 10 cm width or girth with white, black or golden yellow or orange colour till standout boldly and solidly without showing brush marks complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Note:- (i) Original purchase voucher of the item shall be submitted by the contractor to Engineer-in-Charge before taking any payment.(ii) After placing of work order total material for painting works to be brougrt by the contractor at site within twenty one days from the issue of work order else penalty of Rs 5000/- per day will be levied from the contractor.) |

| 14 | M & L for complete removal of paintings from runway surfaces using machine of water blasting cum vacuuming system with suitable (between 350 kg/cm2 to 700 kg/cm2) operating pressure so that the total markings/ paintings/ Rubber particle are removed from runway both rigid and flexible surfaces by the method of water blasting and vacuuming system with suitable water pressure without use of any chemical and without and damage to the existing runway surface complete all as specified and directed.( Note: (i) the work shall be carried out through experienced & qualified agency(s) as approved by GE.(ii) Machinaries deployed shall be got approved by GE in writing before execution.(iii) Complete paintings shall be removed from surface of the runway & other location as directed by GE and the debris/ water to be vacuumed simultaneously leaving no FOD( foriegn object deposits) so as to ensure that the Runway is available from operation immediately. | 15 | M&L for preparation of old bituminous/black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing cake mud/loose particles etc. sweeping with broom and by compressed air blower and applying evenly polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) @ 5kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. ( Note: (i) Trial Patch miust be done and tested (Friction test) before actual work starts and also after completion of work by British Pendulum method . (ii) Making solution of PME should be done by mixing water and PME in ratio 1:1 done mechanical means and supplying of the solution shall also be done by mechanical means in two layers .(iii)The work shall be carried out only by authorised agencies having proper Tools & Plants as required. | 17 | M&L for Premixed Dense Asphaltic Concrete of 60 mm thick DAC Grade -II with PMB-40E Grade ( Minium Marshal Stability 1400 Kg) laid in two layers of 30mm each ( consolidated thickness) with 5.6% binder content of PMB-40E Grade ( PMB shall be used with minimum 85% elastic recovery and softening point 75 degree elastomeric thermoplastic SBS based ( IS 15462-2000) conforming to IRC : SP 53 -2002 and minimum 2% cement filler mix. of the total mix. complete all as specfied and directed . Tack coat of VG-10 @ 3kg per 10 Sqm shall be applied between these two layers of DAC Grade- II . ( Note: (i) Contractor to arrange material on advance in store so that on sudden occurence or thunderstrike or any type of emergency haooening on Runway /Links etc. The work shall be done as early as possible. (ii) This work shall be done / required on urgent basis within 1-2 hours without failure as directed by Engr-in-Charge.(iii)The work shall be carried out only by specialised agencies having proper Tools & Plants as required. (iv) The works must be carried out on priority on the time decided by the Air Force Authority and as directed by the Engr-in-charge.(v) Detail measurement with location and purchase voucher of materials entered in measurement book before payment (vi) Work shall not be executed where execution of works already under guarantee period (vii) All work executed in presence of Engineer-in-Charge or JE (Civ)).
