The agencies/contractors are advised to have inspected the site and satisfied themselves before participating in the tender regarding water-logged, submerged, or foul conditions.2. The contractor shall make his own arrangements for dewatering, diversion, pumping, and disposal of water/sewage during execution of the work including its safe and lawful disposal of pumped water, sewage, or effluents to designated locations and solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions & clearances from the concerned departments for discharge into drains, sewers, or water bodies, traffic permissions, and environmental clearances etc. at his own cost and risk. Any penalties due to improper disposal or pollution shall be borne by the contractor. No extra payment shall be made on account of these operations & delays in obtaining such permissions unless specifically provided as a separate BOQ item.3. The contractor/agency shall submit a detailed structural design calculations and drawings for all RCC structures included in the scope of work, duly vetted and certified by a reputed government technical institution such as IIT DELHI, NIT DELHI, DTU etc. as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of this.4. The contractor shall ensure the availability of good earth at their own cost and responsibility.
