| 1 | Bitumenous HelipadConstruction of Bituminous Material Helipad including clearing and Grubbing, cutting, trimming, loading of earth material existing ground with hydraulic excavator for avg. depth up to 0.70 to 0.90 m and filling, levelling of ground with approved material from borrow pit having CBR > 7 includes all lifts and leads for avg depth of 0.3 m to 0.50 m. Construction of helipad also comprises of different layers of Crusher Run Macadam of thickness 150 mm, wet mix Macadam of thickness 250 mm, Dense Bituminous Macadam of thickness as specified (includes Prime coat, tack coat) and Bituminous Concrete of thickness 30 mm. The operation includes of Non-bituminous layers comprises of Mixing, spreading, laying in uniform layers through motor grader and watering at OMC, compaction with vibratory roller to 1 achieve the desired density as per clause 406 & 407 of MORT&H respectively. The operation of bituminous layers includes mixing of appropriate material, and binder content through Drum mix plant, transporting the hot mix material to the work site, laying with a Electronic sensor paver finisher with sensor control to required grade, level and Rolling with smooth wheeled, Vibratory and tandom rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 505 and 507 of MORTandH respectively. Also provide marking of H and Outer circle with hot applied thermoplastic compound with reflectorising glass beeds on bitumenous surface as per standard drawing & Instructed by Engineer-in-Charge.
