Panel Upgradation
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a complete control panel system for a 50 ton gantry crane, including limit switches and operator room control switches. The new control panel should be designed to meet operational requirements, such as hoisting, lowering, and horizontal movement. Electrical drawings and Bill of material for existing panel will be provided for the reference
Stack rope monitoring system
SITC of a stack rope monitoring system to monitor and assess the vertical movement of the hoisting rope and lifting beam in a gantry crane. The system should comprise rope tension sensors, proximity or alignment sensors, a control unit, and a vertical movement length display unit. The complete setup should be integrated into the control panel of the gantry crane to ensure seamless access and monitoring by the operator from the operator control room. This integration should provide real-time data on rope tension and vertical movement.
Load cell measurement system
SITC of a load cell measurement system for a gantry crane to accurately measure the weight of the load being lifted. The system should include load cells, signal amplifiers/transmitters, a display unit, an alarm system, and a control unit/PLC. It should monitor load distribution across multiple load cells at both ends of the lifting beam to ensure even weight distribution. The system should be fully integrated with the crane’s control panel, enabling automatic lifting stoppage if the load exceeds preset limits or if there is an imbalance in weight distribution. Additionally, load readings should be displayed on the operator console for real-time monitoring and control during lifting operations.
Electromagnetic Disk Brake
Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) of an electromagnetic disc brake system for the gantry crane, intended to effectively control and safely stop the hoist motion during lifting and transportation operations. The system shall comprise electromagnets, brake discs, brake pads/linings, armature plates, and springs. It shall be of the power-off (fail-safe) type, ensuring automatic brake engagement in the event of power failure to enhance operational safety. The scope also includes replacement of the existing one (01) thruster brake with a new unit, along with fabrication and installation of a suitable foundation for both the new thruster brake and the electromagnetic brake. The control system for both braking units shall be integrated into the supplied control panel to enable seamless operation, coordination, and monitoring of the braking system..
Wired Remote
SITC of a handheld wired remote for operators to control the crane's movements, such as lifting, lowering, and moving loads. Complete setup along with Control buttons (Hoist up/down, Travel left/right, Emergency stop), Cable (Wired connection), Connector/Plug, Protective housing (Waterproof, shockproof) and Indicator lights is to be provided.
Mechanical overhauling
Complete overhauling of the main hoist (MH) motor, including supply and installation of new slip ring carbon brushes and other essential components required for efficient and reliable motor operation. The work shall also include dismantling, inspection, repair, and replacement of worn-out oil seals of the gearbox, followed by refilling with appropriate grade lubricating oil to ensure smooth functioning.Additionally, thorough cleaning of the existing wire rope using suitable cleaning agents shall be carried out, followed by proper application of wire rope compound to enhance its service life and operational safety..
Power cables
Supply and installation of approximately 50 metres of shielded power cable (2.5 sq. mm, 4-core) for replacement of loose, damaged, and worn-out sections of the existing cabling, ensuring safe and reliable power transmission.
Rail Track Alignment
Alignment, levelling and diagonal of rail track. Replacement of old and damaged rail track wherever required and replacement of old and damaged hardware assembly, and preparation of rail track with proper aligning and balancing for gantry structure Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information
