Name of Work:- Preventive Maint of Boosters and Tubewells, centrifugal pumps ,Submersible Pump, LT panels, and allied works at Sector A under GE (U) Ambala Cantt.

Taking down centrifugal pump set form foundation existing position and transport to work shop for rewinding, replacement of spare parts as & when required as directed by Engineer in Charge and re-assembling/ re-installing the pump set in original position for pump capacity 40HP/30HP/25 complete all as specified and directed.Note : (a) Spare parts, winding wire required for renewal shall be measured and paid separately.(b) Necessary thimbles, lugs, insulation tape, nut bolts all items required and transportation charge for installation of motor at site will be included in the rate quoted by the contractor. No extra payment will be done to contractor.(c) After dismantling of induction motor repair of PCC foundation work will be executed with replacement of base frame of angle iron of existing size of angle if found damaged or deformed. PCC and base frame angle iron will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Dismantling and opening the 40HP/30HP, 3 phase motor from pump set in existing position for carrying out rewinding work with super enamelled copper wire of suitable guage as per existing and heat varnishing with all other material and transport back to site after testing commisioning complete all as specified and directed.Note: (a) The Motor testing will be done before installation on No load for any unbalance load and should be free from vibration and if found unsatisfactory no payment will be done to contractor for defected motor.
