Name of Work:- Value based Rate Contract for Supply and Application of Hot and Cold insulation in all plants at RCF Trombay UnitNOTES:1. Offers will be evaluated on overall lowest basis.2. It may be noted that quantum of work specified in the Tender is indicative only. Actual quantity may vary within the total financial limit of work order i.e. Value Based Contract and may or may not be consumed fully depending upon Plant requirements.3. Since requirement is on an as-needed basis; therefore, specific job volumes are not guaranteed. Payment will be based on actual work performed and materials used, following the submission of an invoice and certification of the measurement sheet by the RCF Engineer-in-charge.4. The rates quoted by the contractor shall remain firm throughout the period of the contract. Schedule of rates shall be deemed to include and cover all costs, expenses and liabilities of every description including ancillary works, enabling works related to SOR jobs and all risks of every kind required to execute the work.5. No payment towards idle time shall be done on account of any reason viz., insufficient front, delay in issue of safety work permit, delay in providing electricity connections, water supply etc.
