Tender for Repair and Maintenance of 02 ton Capacity Gate Machines Installed on Main Tawi/ravi Canal Including Replacement Repairs of its Various Components/fixtures Etc. for Their Continuous and Smooth Operations (D-7 H/r, D-20 H/r, Link Channel
Removal of garbage/debris lying near/on the sides removing the bushes across grooves etc. of the siphon and dumping it to a nearby dumping site, cleaning of area and dismantling and extraction of winch machines/gates (02 ton capacity) installed on the Tawi/Ravi Canal from its hoisting with the help of necessary tools and tackles, manual labor, crane and other equipments required and shifting all the material from the site to the workshop in a load carrier for the execution of the repair works as mentioned below :- D-7 H/R- Straightening of the stem rod of 02 ton cap. Winch machine by heat treatment, hammering/power pressing to obtain proper alignment for smooth vertical operation of the gate along with thread cutting and hole drilling for its engagement with the gate structure. Repair to complete 02 ton cap. winch machine(including lower and upper stem rod housing) by way of strengthening/ welding along the periphery and joints. Replacing old/damaged/rusted ball bearings 01 No. and fasteners (as per sample) for 02 ton cap. Winch machine with the new one.Link Channel- Repair to gate structure by way of removing the bends in the skin leaf and the alignment of the frame work structure (after dismantling the structure by gas cutting ) by way of heat treatment , power pressing and there after welding back the leaf and the frame work member to constitute the required structure. Cutting/shortening of the gate structure along its width in order to facilitate smooth up and down operation of the gate along its grooves. p/f of new worm gear for 02 ton cap. Winch machine along with spur gear for smooth vertical operation of the gate. Straightening of the stem rod of 02 ton cap. Winch machine by heat treatment, hammering/power pressing to obtain proper alignment for smooth vertical operation of the gate along with thread cutting and hole drilling for its engagement with the gate structure. Providing of new fasteners (as per sample) for the winch machine in lieu of old/damaged ones. Repair to complete winch machine(including lower and upper stem rod housing) by way of strengthening/welding along the periphery and joints.D-20 H/R – Strengthening/welding of winch machine (including lower and upper stem rod housing)along the periphery and joints. Providing and fitting of 01 no. worm gear as per sample in place of damaged/missing gear. Replacement of damaged/broken/rusted fasteners and 02 no. bearings as per sample. Repair to gate structure by way of cutting/shortening of the gate structure along its width in order to facilitate smooth up and down operation of the gate along its grooves. Assembling all the parts of the gates/winch machines and transporting the repaired gates/ machines from the workshop to the road side near canal in a load carrier and to the installation site with the help of manual labor and its subsequent installation in their embodiments with the help of necessary tools and tackles and other materials as per the requirement, Oiling and greasing of winch machine, grooves and other moving parts with good quality multi-purpose grease conforming to the standards. Scraping of dust/rust with emery paper and subsequent painting of 02 ton gate structures/machines with one coat of red oxide steel primer and two coats of anti-corrosive paint of light blue color. The job constitutes skilled and unskilled labor charges, crane charges, cost of material, carriage/transportation charges (to and fro) between site and workshop, loading and unloading charges, hire charges of tools and tackles required for the complete execution of the work.
