| 10 | Excavation of any approved type of soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means loading in to & transportation by mechanical means & unloading the soil within the lead of 5km on properly & scientificaly approved surface including spreading & levelling the earth in 22.5cm layers to make ready for watering & compaction with sheep foot roller & dozers but excluding watering & compaction in dams & dykes for all heights including construction, maintenance, watering & lighting of haul road & borrow area etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
