The post shall be supported on a tyre base or any other suitable stable platform to prevent overturning. The entire assembly shall be self-stable and portable, requiring no fixing to the ground. The contractor shall ensure that the signboard shall be installed at any required location within 30 minutes of identifying a hazardous site condition as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The item includes all handling, transportation, and shifting of the signboard from one location to another as required during the entire duration of the work. One-time payment shall be made for providing and maintaining the signboard from commencement to completion of the project, irrespective of the number of relocations. Upon completion of the work, the signboard shall remain the property of the contractor. |

The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50cm above the ground is available making overall height as 2.5m. The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion.Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The deployment shall include items such as torch, safety gear, and other necessary safety equipment.The supervisor shall be equipped with an Android or equivalent smartphone having a valid internet connection/mobile data to promptly report any incidents such as damaged or stolen covers/frames, hazardous locations, or potholes on roads to the Engineer-in-charge.The item includes hiring and running charges of the motorcycle up to 60 km per shift, inclusive of fuel, wear and tear, maintenance, insurance, and all other statutory requirements all complete as per the directions of engineer-in-charge. (One job means 8 hours’ duty). The rate for above cited item is inclusive of cost of all activities as mentioned above and nothing extra shall be paid. |

The response time for high-risk hazards such as open manhole covers, road potholes, or similar dangerous conditions shall not exceed 4 hours from the time of reporting In case the supervisor/contractor fails to take necessary action within the stipulated time limits, a penalty of ₹50,000 per incident shall be imposed.3. In the event of any non-fatal accident occurring due to contractor’s negligence, a penalty of ₹3,00,000 per incident shall be imposed. In case of any fatal accident, a penalty of ₹30,00,000 or as specified in the previlant labour laws (whichever is higher) shall be imposed per fatality , along with debarment from DDA as per applicable rules.The contractor shall deposit Bank Guarantee(BG) of Rs 30,00,000/- in advance to DDA issued by schedule bank on account of compensation advance.4.The contractor is required to maintain a Daily Inspection Register for all drain/sewer inspection chamber / manholes and update it regularly on day to day basis. The same shall be submitted on a weekly basis to the department for review, failing which a penalty of ₹50,000 shall be imposed by the department per week.5. Layout plan comprising of sewer line /Drain / manhole cover/inspection chamber location shall be provided by the Department to the contractor.6. All sewer/drain cover openings shall be temporarily covered within one day and permanently covered within 60 days from the date of award of work, in the sequence as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge.Failure to comply shall attract a penalty of ₹10,000 per day.7. The cover shall bear an engraved marking indicating the name of the agency, year, and division, as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note :BIt is hereby stated that the conditions mentioned in the above Note A are only in brief.
