Cleaning of Existing joints of various sizes on rigid pavement as specified below:- 1. Removing bitumenous material up to a depth of 40 mm to 50 mm.2. Proper Cleaning of bitumenous material from sides up to a depth of 40 mm to 50 mm using petroleum material (i.e. thinner etc) and / or with joint cutting machine and / or burning stove and / or hot air blower as per site requirement.3. Preparation of joint upto a depth of 40 mm to 50 mm in exactly rectangular size.

Providing and laying in position polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS 11433-1995, in expansion / Construction / dummy joints including rounding off edges, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge & particular specifications.[note : for purpose of payment, quantity (Length X Width X Depth) of sealant in cucm only will be measured.] i) Various joints of sizes 25 mm to 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep over required dia. Patch and Crack repair of PQC Pavement Blocks at joints using three Component solvent free Epoxy mortar conforming to ASTM C 395 – 01 (2012) & Specific gravity (2.00 approx at 20 o C DIN 53217) including cutting the treatment area in shape by mechanical means, cleaning and application with manpower. Patch should be cut in Geometric Shape and up to a depth of 2 inch as per requirement. Cracks shall be repaired by cutting 1 Inch on both sides of the crack and three inches in depth. Cut Area should be cleaned and dried after cutting and primed using a suitable primer. After priming Epoxy morter shall be filled in the cut area.

Providing Ready mix Bituminous Compound (With Minimum 6% residual Bitumen and mineral aggregates (bag of 20kg each) with specified gradation) for Patch/Pot Hole repair of Flexible Pavements of make STP/Asmac or equivalent as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge.
