Supplying labour for round -the -clock monitoring in operation and maintenance of Intake gates, Crest gates, Emergency gate and Sluice gates of Poringalkuthu dam and attending other duties including assisting departmental staff in dam monitoring works such as monitoring the water level daily, notch reading twice in a week and recording and reporting the same to KSEBL offices, cleaning the dam top, trimming, dressing and clearing vegetation from the down stream/up stream portion of the dam as well as from the premises of field office, generator shed and its premises, intake structure, steel foot bridge etc., collection of water samples from various locations wherever specified, minor electrical and mechanical repairs, operation of 40KVA DG set during power failure, cleaning and minor repairs of generator as and when rerquired etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers for the year 2026-27.
