| 27 | Labour for hoisting, fixing and erection of 15 M high Tower as per Departmental drawing & design with all its necessary components viz. climbing ladder, platform with railing and fixing with bolts, nuts and spring washers, necessary welding etc.wherever required complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer - in - charge.(NOTE: Rate includes cost of all operations involved in hoisting and erection of tower including hire and labour charges of tools, plants and machineries, insurance premium of labours etc. and nothing will be paid extra. The contractor has to supply insurance coverage certificate for workers, failing which a sum of Rs. 5000/ per tower shall be deducted from bill) |
| 28 | Painting of 15 metre tower from top to bottom including bracings, platforms, landings, ladder guard rail, runway etc with superior quality weather resistant luxor high gloss synthetic enamel paint or equivalent (two or more coats) in international orange and white shade in equal alternate layer to give and even shade including scarpping out worn out old paints wherever necessary as per the direction of the Engineer in charge. ( The rate is inclusive of all charges including scaffolding, labour insurance etc.) |
| 29 | Providing and fixing copper spike type lightening arrester made of 10 mm OD copper pipe with 10 mm ISRO bar copper fitted to 120 degree rod size 5 mm with necessary fixtures at the top of tower. The spike shall be insulated from tower by teflon materials. The pipe shall be connected to copper plate earthing by 50x3 mm GI flat with proper fixing arrangement as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(The GI Flat shall be paid separately) |
| 30 | Providing and fixing 50x3 mm GI Strip from the top of the tower,one end of the strip connected to copper spike lightening arrestor,and another end left free after making necessary holes at ground levels for connection to late earthing at a later stage complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 31 | Labour charges for dismantling and collection of the antennas including mounts,armoured cables,equipements etc fitted on the fallen MAAR towers etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.[Note: rates inclusives of all the dismanted materials to be handed over to the concernred persons.
