| 63 | Dismantling RCC with contractors own diamond saw cutter machine including cutting reinforcement bars, embedded structural steel members etc in all areas including hazardous and fire prone ar (due to presence of petroleum vapours etc). The work item includes cost of all necessary accessories, tools, tackles, consumables, providing necessary scaffolding, propping and under pinning etc. for all elevations with all labour and materials etc complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of the Engineer-In-Charge. The item also includes disposal of the cut items for all lifts as directed within the owners area. Contractor has to submit dismantling plan prior to start of job. Dismantling shall be planned in such a way that each cut piece shall weigh not less than 1.6 Tonne. The Unit of measurement \\"SQM\\" refers to cross section of the cutting and payment will be made per SQM of Cross- sectional cut area. Elaborate precautions are to be taken for dismantling as per fire permit, clearance etc. and work is to be done extremely cautiously. Arrangement for taking power supply from existing owner's sources has to be made by the contractor which will be allowed subject to availability of electricity, else, the contractor has to make his own arrangement. |
