| 9 | Notes : applicable for item No 01 to 07 mentioned above(a) Suitably blocking the incomimg and outgoing wash out pipes for avoiding mud and foreign materials deposited in the sump getting into pipes and chocking it prior to starting the cleaning.(b) Bail out complete water remaining in the UG sump before cleaning the mud and other deposits.(c) Filling up the UG sump full and feed the affected residential/OTM consumers enough water to sustain during the sump cleaning period.(d) Manually remove deposited mud sludge and other foreign particles and deposit the same separately away from tanks in low laying areas and levelling as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(e) Clean the floor wall and dome of the UG sump by jetting water using rotary pressure jets, remove the sludge so deposited completely by rubbing the wall/floor with brushes and repeat removal and depositing (Approved detergent shall be used).(f) Disinfect the tank with FOA/WHO specified chemical and make the tank totally bacteria free.(g) Apply a coat of white cement paint outside surface area as per directed by Engr-in-Charge.(h) Writing of the date of cleaning of the water tank with white letters on black background. |

| 15 | Taking out slits, mud, solid waste material of any size and quantity from jack well (Low Lift) by manually/mechanically throughly and thrown away 15M distance as directed after closing the inlet valves of jack well (size of jack well 20mtr depth from the ground level, 04 mtr dia) incl removing all the mud and solid waste from the cavities of wall approx 04 mtr from the bottom surface cleaning throughly with clean water and bleaching powder, repair the crack inside wall as required and also to make alternative arrangement for uninterrupted water supply from river to aerator including all accessories complete all as directed. |
