(ii) Bitumen VG-30 for Bitumen @ 5.5% of by weight of fresh aggregates. (iii) Binder @2% by weight of mix. Tecycling pavement by cold miling of existing bituminous layers, planning the surface agter cold milling, reclaiming excavated material to the extent of 30 per cent of the required quantity, hauling and stockpiling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvennators as required, mixing in a hot mis plant, transporting and laying at site and compacting to the required grade, level and thickness, all as specified in Clause 519. |
| 4 | Providing and laying bituminous concrete with higher capacity batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @5.4 per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level adn alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects |
| 5 | Providing and laying bitumen mastic wearing course (as per specifications) with industrial bitumen of grade 85/25 conforming to IS : 702, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of approved size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at approximate spacing of 10 cm centre to centre in both directions, pressed into surface protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, including cleaning the surface, removal of debris etc. all complete. (Considering bitumen using 10.2% as per MORTH specification). 40mm thick |
| 6 | Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads@250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. Rates are inclusive of all taxes, royalty etc. all T&P/machine material and labour required for proper completion of work. |
