| 1 | M&L for preparing of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with using air blowers to remove all loose dirt, rubber deposits complete and applying Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) by spraying machine having penetration value 10-20 mm and initial setting time of 4-5 hours but not more than 8 hours. First coat with 0.6 Ltr (undiluted) PME diluted in 0.6 Ltr water to be applied uniformally on each 1.0 Sqm area mixed with mechanical filler as recommended by manufacturer of PME and ensure uniform finish of PME on flexible surface with mechanical application through spraying machine and using specially designed mopper for mopping the surface complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and complete all as directed.MAKE : M/s Ooms Polymer Modified Bitumen Pvt Ltd , M/s Hindustan Colas Pvt. ltd( HINMAT PLUS-PME), M/s L N Petro Chem Private Limited ( EMULCOTE)Notes :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for the following points while quoting his rate for this item |
| 2 | (a) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the manufacturer. (b) Friction parameters shall be between 0.35 to 0.60 after application of PME. Contractor will make necessary arrangements for procurement of Portable Skid Resistance Tester (PSTR) and carry out necessary testing as directed without any extra cost to the department.(c) Two year warranty of material performance and application performance shall be obtained from the authrised manufacturer of PME. Warranty will include the fact that structure will remain water tight and no further cracks will be formed, excluding damage caused by natural calamities. Permeability test (ASTM D 2434) to be conducted on the surface prior and after to application of treatment.(d) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.(e) Any number of trials patches of dimension 15mx15m at slected places for application of PME as directed by GE will be undetaken before commencement of treament. Friction parameters, permeability parameters to ensure zero porosity, penetration of PME after application of both coats and micro and macro textures will be determined through relevant testing methods as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. (Qty. will be measured and paid under relevant items of first coat and second coat of PME. (f) Care shall be taken to fill gaps/cracks up to 5mm size with mineral filler as per manufacturer's instructions. |
| 3 | All as per item No 1 here-in-before but for second coat with 0.4Ltr (undiluted) PME diluted in 0.4 Ltr water to be applied uniformally on each 1.00 Sqm area (Second coat will be applied separately) after drying and setting of first coat.Note for item No 1 and 2 :- No price adjustment shall be done if PME used is more than 0.6 Ltr and 0.4 Ltr per Sqm of area in first and second coat respectively. |
| 4 | M&L for removal of paintings(with or without rubber deposits ) with water based road marking paint/ thermoplastic paint on flexible and rigid surfaces of airfied using waterblasting cum vaccuming system with suitable machine and suitable operating pressure so that the total paint is removed from runway both (rigid and flexible) surfaces by the method of water blasting cum vaccuming system with suitable water pressure without use of any chemical & no damage to the existing surface complete all as specified and directed.NOTES :- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized & qualified applicator.(ii) Total paint shall be removed and the debries /water to be vaccumed simultaneously leaving NO FOD so that the runway is available for operation immediately.(iii) The paint removal machine shall be SH8000, SH5000, SH3000 as approved by GE.(iv) Paint deposit debries should be in solid form when finally disposed.(v) In any emergency condition the machine should exit from the runway in less than 2 minutes without leaving FOD. |
| 5 | M&L for Removal of Rubber deposits from runway surface using Water blasting cum vacuuming system with suitable machine and suitable operating pressure so that the total rubber deposits are removed from runway both (rigid and flexible) surfaces by the method of water blasting cum vacuuming system with suitable water pressure 'without use of any chemical & no damage to the existing surface complete all as specified and directed.NOTES : - (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized & qualified applicator •(ii) Total rubber deposit should be removed and the Debris/ Water to be vacuumed simultaneously leaving No FOD so that the Runway is available for operation immediately.(iii) The rubber removal Machine shall be SH8000, SH5000, SH3000 as approved by GE.(iv) Rubber deposit Debris should be in solid form when finally disposed.(v) In any emergency condition the machine should exit from the runway in less than 2 minute without leaving FOD.(vi) Friction Test should be carried out before & after Rubber deposit removal operation. .(vii) After carrying out rubber removal operation on the runway , the friction reading of the rubber removed segment should bebetween 0.35 to 0.60. which shall be ensured by GE.(viii) Area of runway painting merged with rubber removal shall be measured and paid under item No. 03 i.e. removal of runway painting. |
| 6 | M&L for applying two coats of painting for lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with water based road marking paint, white, orange, black or golden yellow including cleaning, preparation of surfaces and as required complete all as specified and directed |

| 9 | M&L for repair to damaged broken portion of existing PQC slabs of taxi tracks in form of potholes measuring 10 to 50mm in diameter and average depth of 50mm by cutting to the required depth until hard strata of concrete is achieved, cleaning the surfaces and removing loose material, dust etc using hand held air blowers and priming the surfaces with primer RDL 942 and treating the surface with elastomeric concrete Flex O Patch (10 Kg Kit of three part viz Part A-3.0 Kg, Part B - 1.5 Kg and Part C - 5.5 Kg (E-Crete agregate) and levelling the surface using trowel and cleaning the surface to match the existing surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 10 | Repair to existing surface pavement by cutting inverted trapezoidal section in regular shapes by diamond cutters and chiselling, removing loose concrete, cleaning with compressed air and washing with chemical water solution, priming epoxy resin primer at the rate of 0.34 kg/sqm applied by sprayer or brush and making good with epoxy mortar, including disposal of rubbish to a distance 250m but n,exc 500m complete all as specified and as directed. All worn out/unserviceable materials/items which will be obtained from different items of Sch `A’/ BOQ (as mentioned above) during replacement work, shall become contractor’s property and amount of credit shall be recovered from the contractor's RAR & final bill as and when payments are submitted. These materials shall be allowed to be removed from works site only after credit amount for the same is recovered from the contractor’s payment. Items not covered under this Schedule shall become the property of department and the same shall be returned/ deposited by the contractor at MES store yard without any extra cost to department/ government and all materials which are credited to the contractor, shall be recorded in MB 2. The contractor shall have no claim regarding fixation of credit rates in this schedule and no rebate on \\"Schedule of credit\\" rates/ amount shall be accepted. However contractor can offer more credit rates/ amount. 3. The total credit amount may vary as per execution of work above different items involved in this credit schedule. 4. The quantities given in column 4 are provisional and same shall be measured and paid based on actual quantities obtained against relevant items of Schedule ‘A’/ BOQ. These materials shall not be reused/ reincorporated in the work except where specified. 5. The measurements of dismantled materials shall be the gross quantity obtained and not the net quantity considered for payment in schedule. The old and unserviceable materials to be retrieved from taking down/demolition/dismantling etc are considered in schedule of credit.
