S&F in repair Square Rubber fender of size 2000mm x 300mm x 200mm depth (or in short lengths to suit the site requirements) and fixed as kerbs on the top of sea face jetty wall with four numbers M24 SS 304 bolts of length 285mm. The fender shall be fixed with a MS galvanized flat of size 100mm X 12mm covering the full length of the fender as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The Properties of the rubber used shall be as follows :- Before aging : Tensile strength not less than 17 MPa, Elongation shall not be less than 350% as per ASTM D412, Hardness Max 70 +/- 5º, Shore ‘A’ as per ASTM D2240.

After aging at 96 hours at 70º : The tensile strength not less than 80%, Elongation not less than 80% as per ASTM D 412 hardness + 8º shore A as per ASTM 2240, tear strength shall not be less than 70KN/m, Compression set at 70ºC for 22 hours 25% maximum- as per ASTM D 395, abrasion resistance Maximum 1.5CC as per BS 903 A/ASTM D 5963/ISO 4649 and Ozone resistance - no cracks as per ADSTM D 1171. All the above test reports shall be provided by the manufacturer. Necessary factory inspection during manufacturing process shall be arranged by the bidder. The fender is be pre coated with the homogeneous colour with yellow and black alternately complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: (i) Fenders will be black in colour with strips of yellow colour which will be produced by moulding 5mm yellow rubber strips on all sides except bottom face side of fenders (ii) The items rate shall include the cost of SS M24 bolt, Nuts and chemical for fixing the bolt as recommended and supplied by the manufacturer of rubber fender. (iii) Rat quoted is inclusive of removal of old unserviceable fender outside MD land. (iv) All dimensions given in this schedule precede over drawings attahced and drawings are provided for reference and placing of fenders only.

S&F in repair cylinder rubber fender of size 380mm OD X190mm ID 7.93m long with MS chain with shekels of Dia 28mm with 32mm dia shackle at both ends and chain length 9800mm with chain link inside size 37 mm X 87mm fixed on the verticle face of jetty sea face wall with fixing arrangement with MS plate with suitable nuber of MS24 SS 304bolts of length 285mm as shown in drwing as directed by engineer-in charge. Rubber as per ASTM D-2240, ASTM D 412, ASTM D 395, ASTM D 1149, ASTM D 471. The properties of rubber used shall be as follows - Hardness -72+/- 5, Tensile strength 160 kg/cm2, Min elongation -300%, ageing resistence: At 70deg C 96hrs hardness +10 Elongation at break 80% of original, compressive test 30% max, water resistence +10% max by volume, Ozone Resistance @ 50PPHM . All the above test repor shall be provided by the manufacturer. Taking down existing rubber arch fender in any position of any size and length not exc. 4 RM Each fender and refixing the same or other location as directed including repairs to the disturbed portion with suitable chemicals complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for patch repair in concrete surfaces of any depth as required with shrinkage controlled polymer modified fibre reinforced patch repair mortar chemical of any make approved by GE having a compressive strength of 45 Mpa over a coat of Nitobond SBR of make approved by GE on the base surfaces of jetty wall all as specified and directed.
