| 5 | The Bill of Quantities shall be read in conjunction with Notice Inviting Tenders, Instructions to Tenderers, General and Special Conditions of Contract, Employer's Requirement, Tender Drawings and other relevant documents. |
| 6 | Tenderers shall quote their offer in Indian Rupees (INR) only. Tenderers are required to be quoted percentage (%) Excess/Less for schedule-A in figures in the appropriate highlighted cells in the BoQ1 sheet. Schedule-B items shall be quoted as item-wise amounts in the appropriate highlighted cells in the BoQ2 sheet (not percentages) and are optional. |
| 7 | The rates and prices to be tendered in the priced Bill of Quantities are for completed job and finished items of whole work of complete bridge and complete in all respect. It will be deemed to include Duties, Taxes, Octroi, Royalty etc., cost of all plants, labour, supervision, materials, transport, all temporary works, scaffolding, hoisting, erection, maintenance, testing, commissioning, utility identification, to work at all heights, contractor’s profit and establishment/overheads, together with preparation of design and drawings, all general risks, insurance liabilities, compliance of labour laws and obligations set out or implied in the contracts. For taxes and duties refer clause C2.5 of ITT & clause 10 of SCC. |
| 8 | Quoting against Schedule-A is mandatory. If the tenderer fails to quote rates against Schedule-A, the tender may be treated as incomplete and non- responsive and shall be rejected. |
| 9 | Quoting for items under Schedule-B (Optional) is at the discretion of the tenderer. The tenderer may quote item-wise rates (not in percentage) for none, one or all items of the Schedule-B based on their technical capability. Non-quoting of Schedule-B items shall not render the bid non-responsive |
| 10 | Schedule-B items are optional in nature and shall not be considered for evaluation of bids. The work shall be awarded to the bidder who is L1 for Schedule-A. |
| 11 | Schedule-B items, if required, may be executed through the L1 bidder of Schedule-A, subject to the bidder’s acceptance to execute such items at the lowest quoted rates of Schedule-B. |
| 12 | In case the L1 bidder (Schedule-A) is not willing to execute the items of Schedule-B, the Employer reserves the right to get such items executed through L-1 bidder/bidders of Schedule-B without any prejudice |
| 13 | In such cases, the agencies engaged for Schedule-A and Schedule-B shall coordinate with each other to ensure integration and submission of a unified Structural Health Assessment Report for the bridge. The overall responsibility for submission of the final report shall, however, remain with the Schedule-A contractor. |
| 14 | No extra claims whatsoever shall be entertained from the bidders on this account. |
| 15 | Errors will be corrected by the employer for any arithmetical errors in computation or summation as per contract conditions. |
| 16 | The Financial Proposal (as per BOQ) shall be uploaded online on the website http://eprocure.gov.in/eprocure/app. The rates shall be quoted in the excel file provided in the bid documents. The tenderer shall download the excel file and quote the rates against each highlighted cells in BoQ1. After quoting their rates the excel file shall be uploaded accordingly. The rates shall not be offered/quoted elsewhere in the technical submission/ tender submission. |
| 17 | The work executed against all the BOQ as detailed in tender document would be paid as per payment schedule given in Clause C10 of ITT and clause 25 of Employer's Requirement. |

Vibration Analysis (Dynamic Response) of stay cables- By measuring the natural frequency of the cables using accelerometers to calculate the stay cable tension, loss of tension or structural degradations. 2. Ground Penetration Redar (GPR) for deck and pylon– Provides a “topographical” view of the internal reinforcement. It locates rebars, measure concrete cover depth and identifies large voids3. Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) for deck and pylon– Measures the speed of ultrasonic waves through the concrete. Slower speeds indicate poor quality, cracks or honeycombing.4. Impact Echo (IE) for deck and pylon – Specifically effective for detecting delamination (separation of concrete layers) and evaluating the quality of grouting in post-tensioned ducts. 5. Measurement of angular rotation and tilt behaviour of pylons using tilt meters or similar sensors.6. Monitoring of structural deflection and other critical components wherever required.... 7. Any other test, general survey or instrumentation for short-term structural health monitoring for stay cables, deck and pylon. 8. The work shall include detailed inspection of stay cables, concrete deck and pylon, installation/deployment of suitable sensors, instruments and monitoring tools, along with necessary Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to monitor and assess the structural condition 9. The work shall include data analysis and preparation of a comprehensive Structure health Assessment Report with recommendations of required remedial actions for repair and maintenance.The work shall be executed as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge and scope of work as defined in contract conditions.
