Tender for Repair/maintenance of 2/5 ton Cap.gatesinstalled on Main Tawi Canal Including Replacement/repairs of its Various Components/fixtures Etc. for Their Continuous and Smooth Operations ( D-10 Head at rd 27850 and D-11 Bindral Minor, D-9 H/r)
Removal of garbage/debris lying near/on the sides removing the bushes near gate and dumping it to a nearby dumping site, cleaning of area and dismantling and extraction of winch machines (2/5 ton capacity) installed on the Tawi Canal from its hoisting with the help of necessary tools and tackles, manual labor/crane and other equipments required and shifting all the material from the site to the workshop in a load carrier for the execution of the repair works as mentioned below :- Gate at D-9 H/R - Strengthening of 02 ton cap. winch machine including lower stem rod housing, upper stem rod housing, gear box and base plate by way of welding along the periphery and joints. Repair to gate structure by way of removal the bends in the skin leaf and the alignment of the frame work structure (after dismantling the structure by gas cutting ) by way of heat treatment , power pressing and there after welding back the leaf and the frame work member to constitute the required structure. Welding of angle/channel/stiffeners/skin plate to the 02 ton gate structure along with L shaped M.S. flat hooks, drilling holes in lieu of the corroded one and making appropriate fastening system. Straightening of the stem rod of 02 ton cap. Winch machine by heat treatment, hammering/power pressing to obtain proper alignment for smooth vertical operation of the gate along with thread cutting for its engagement with the gate structure. Replacing old/damaged/rusted ball bearing 01 No. and fasteners (as per sample) for 02 ton cap. Winch machine with the new one. Providing and fitting of worm gear, main gearin lieu of damaged ones.Gate at D-10 Head (RD 27850)- Straightening of the stem rod of 05 ton cap. Winch machine by heat treatment, hammering/power pressing to obtain proper alignment for smooth vertical operation of the gate along with thread cutting for its engagement with the gate structure. Providing and fitting of rain pipe and in lieu of damaged one. Strengthening of 05 ton cap. winch machineby way of welding along the periphery and joints. Welding of MS seat so as to hold the gear intact at its position for facilitating the vertical movement of the gate.Replacing old/damaged/rusted ball bearings 02 No. and fasteners (as per sample) for 05 ton cap. Winch machine with the new one. Repair to base plate by way of welding/strengthening/grinding/straightening and drilling holes etc. D-11 Bindral Minor –Repair to lower stem rod housing (including base plate) by way of straightening/strengthening/welding along the periphery and joints. Providing and fitting of worm gear, main gear and upper stem rod housing in lieu of damaged/misplaced ones. Straightening of the stem rod of 02 ton cap. Winch machine by heat treatment, hammering/power pressing to obtain proper alignment for smooth vertical operation of the gate. Providing of 01 no. bearing and fasteners as per sample. Assembling all the parts of the winch machines/gate structures and transporting them from the workshop to the road side near canal in a load carrier and to the installation site with the help of manual labor and its subsequent installation in their embodiments with the help of necessary tools and tackles and other materials as per the requirement, Oiling and greasing of winch machines, grooves and other moving parts with good quality multi-purpose grease conforming to the IS standards.Scraping of dust/rust with emery paper and subsequent painting of 02/05 ton gate machines/leaf with one coat of red oxide steel primer and two coats of anti corrosive paint of light blue color. The job constitutes skilled and semi-skilled labor charges, crane charges,cost of material, carriage/transportation charges (to and fro) between site and workshop, loading and unloading charges, hire charges of tools and tackles required for the complete execution of the work.
