| 20 | Providing, fabricating, supplying and fixing structural steel well mouth cover for a 5-5.5 m diameter well using IS marked structural steel conforming to IS 2062, comprising ISLC 100×50 mm channel sections for the main circular outer frame and radial stiffening members, and ISA 20×20×3 mm MS angles for grill/mesh supports, complete as required.The cover shall be provided with heavy duty welded MS steel mesh (minimum 5 mm dia bars @ 50–75 mm c/c both ways or as directed) securely welded to the supporting frame. The framing system shall include adequate radial members and stiffeners to safely span the full diameter and prevent sagging.A hinged access opening of 900 × 600 mm shall be provided for cleaning and maintenance, complete with heavy duty MS hinges, hasp & staple arrangement and provision for padlock. The opening frame shall be properly stiffened and reinforced.All members shall be properly aligned, continuously welded, joints ground smooth and edges finished neatly.
