Clearing shrub jungles and uprooting stumps and small bushes and trees below 1 M girth and disposing off debris away from the work site, all labour charges, T&P, B & O.C. Workers Welfare Cess etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in excavation in hard soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means, loading into and transportation of the excavated materials by mechanical means and depositing them in filling reaches of canals on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface to the required section including breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm size and laying in layers not exceeding 0.3m in depth, spreading and levelling with all leads, lifts & delifts including cost, conveyance and royalty of earth, all labour charges, T&P, hire and running charges of transport vehicle, B & O.C. Workers Welfare Cess etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurement is to be taken on finished level section)

Providing and laying granular sub-base with moorum and sand admixture (70:30) of approved quality and laying in layers not exceeding 100mm including watering and compaction to the required density with P.R.R including cost and conveyance of sub-base materials with all leads, lifts & delifts, all labour charges, T&P, hire and running charges of all machineries, B & O.C. Workers Welfare Cess etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(Measurement is to be taken on finished level section)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting I.R.C. Grade - II stone aggregates of size 63 mm to 45 mm to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheeled steel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming moorum of approved quality as crushable type binding material to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregates, watering and compacting to the required density as per Clause 404 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge works (4th Revision) with all leads, lifts & delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, EMF, DMF & Additional Charges taxes etc. of all materials, all labour charges, T&P, hire and running charges of all machineries, B & O.C.
