| 1 | Replacing/Refixing defective elastomeric bearings including arrangement for lifting and lowering the span by providing and operating suitable hydraulic jacks of minimum capacity 200T with check nut, tilting saddle and hydraulic power pack (as approved by JMRC), cleaning of pier caps, dismantling and disposing of existing grout below/above the bearing with all leads and lifts, hacking/roughening of pedestal top, chipping of concrete as per the methodology approved by JMRC. The bearings shall be placed over M.S stool/ plate, to be placed/ positioned on the pedestal and a straight/tapered plate shall be placed between the soffit of girder and bearing as per site condition (cost of tapered plate shall be paid separately). Fixing the straight/tapered plate to the soffit of girder by Conbextra EP-75 or equivalent and applying epoxy mortar (Nitomotar 30 or equivalent) of approved brand in the gap between M.S. stool and top of pedestals are included in the scope of this item. The rates include all other items i/c tools, water, electricity, safety net all around etc. complete in all respect as per the direction of engineer in charge. The entire work shall be executed within the framework of overall bearing and repair methodology or any modification as directed by engineer in charge. The rates also include the cost of providing diesel operated sky lift of required boom length for the bearing replacement work to be undertaken. The sky lift shall be provided at site till the completion of bearing replacement work and no fixed hours are specified. The safety and security of all equipments/machinery/material will lie with agency. ( NOTE: THE PAYMENT UNDER THIS ITEM SHALL COVER LIFTING OF ONE END OF VIADUCT SPAN FOR REREPLACING ONE OR MORE BEARINGS / PEDESTALS REPAIRING). |
| 2 | Providing machine tapered (with roughened top surface) M.S plate of specified thickness as per site requirement/gradient of soffit of girder. The plate shall be coated with anti-corrosive epoxy primer & paint of approved brand before placing it above/below bearing. All the dimensions of the tapered plate will be decided through pre-inspection of locations. |
| 3 | Casting on bed plate of any shape or thickness by Epoxy EP-75 with reinforcement as per drawing and satisfaction of engineer in charge. (Reinforcement will be paid separately in their respective item). This item will be executed as and when required for replacing the bottom grout of the bearing. |
| 4 | Supply of Sky lift on ire charges basis 20 mtr long boom for 8 hours (Per day) including operators, all arrangement of safety, barricades. Traffic marshal etc. all complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge. |
| 5 | Providing at site approved quality ELASTOMERIC bearing confirming to IRC: 83 (Part-II) ( of any dimension) from specified manufacturer as directed by JMRC/MORTH vendor list. The supply of ELASTOMERIC bearings shall be accompanied by all relevant test certificates as approved by RDSO and are to be submitted to JMRC for verification before replacement of bearings. The safety and integrity of bearings at site lies solely with the agency and nothing shall be paid extra. Testing of bearings will be done for a Lot of 50 bearings each for which two additional bearings will be supplied free of cost. The dimensions of bearing to be placed shall be directed by engineer in charge. |
| 6 | Providing & placing in position Micro concrete for reinforced pedestal works which shall be cement based pre packed. Single component, Chloried free, Non shrink, Free flow, Self compacting. Ready to use after mixing water in specified proportion obtained from approved manufacturer as per manufacturer's specification and direction of engineer-in-charge [payment under this items shall be made only after proper sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instruments]. |
| 7 | Injection grout with Conbextra EP-10 through the fixed NRV as per the direction of engineer incharge. Conbextra EP-10 of two component high strength epoxy grout including the cost of all material, labour at all heights including providing and fixing of nipple/NRV of required size and removing/replacing nipple complete. Density: Approx 1050 kg/m3 Tensile strength : 20N/mm2@7days Flexural strength: 40 N.mm2@7days Compressive strength: 45 N/mm2 @ 1 day, 60 N/mm2 @ 3 days, 80 N/mm2 @ 7 days. |
| 8 | Providing safety and traffic diversion arrangement at the location of work with two stage protection that is with concrete barriers and PVC drum filled with sand/water. The item shall include transportation and placing in position of concrete barriers (06 nos. concrete barriers of size 2.5-3m length and 1.2m height) and suitable nos. of drum as per approved plan and direction of Engineer in charge. The concrete barriers will be provided by JMRC (Which will required to be lifted by contractor from any JMRC site within Jaipur City), whereas all other materials are to be provided by contractor. The item shall inlude all labour/material cost for filling of drums, providing reflective lights, reflective tapes, caution tapes, 02 nos. marshals from traffic diversion and any other miscellaneous item(s). The marshals shall remain availlable from the start of work at the location, barriers will have to be returned to JMRC and place as per directed location. Nothing shall be paid extra for all the works described in this item. |

| 14 | Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joiningwith cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin- charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done. |
