Site Development: Clearing of vegetation, cutting and levelling of earth deposits, and preparing a compacted earth surface using necessary imported filling materials available at site for an area of 27 m × 12 m for foundation works. The work shall be carried out manually/mechanically to achieve a properly compacted surface suitable for casting PCC and foundation by compacting using plate compactor in layers not exceeding 20cm depth, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Imported filling material used in the item shall be measured under relevant item.

Supplying, and stacking of Granular Sub Base material suitable for backfilling and preparing the base of foundation having required composition of 40mm downgraded aggregates as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in excavation by manual/mechanical means including disposal of excavated earth at designated dumping area of CSL, within 3 km of the yard, etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in- charge:All kinds of soil.

Providing and casting the plain cement concrete bed of 10 cm thickness using machine mixed cement concrete at a mix ratio 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size), for foundation over 110 gsm polyethylene sheet including cost of cement, centering and shuttering, mixing, laying, compacting, curing, deshuttering etc. complete but exluding cost of polythene sheet.

Providing and casting reinforced cement concrete foundation slab and beams using ready mix concerete of grade M30 having minimum cement content of 380 kg/m3, including cost of pumping, laying, compacting, curing, shuttering and cost of all tools and materials, deshuttering, finishing, etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, fabricating, placing and tying in position torsteel reinforcement of grade Fe 500 D or more to required size and shape over specified cover blocks including cost and conveyance of all materials, including charges for loading, unloading, uncoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, binding or welding, lapping, hire charges of welding equipments, welding electrode, placing in position and binding with binding wire etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
