Spread non-woven geo-textile or glass fiber tissue of 45 GDM with overlaps of 50mm in both directions when the surface is still tacky, this is optional , to be assessed as per site requirements to acheive higher mechanical properties.(iii) Allow 1st coat to dry for 10-12 Hrs.(iv) Apply 2nd coat of PU membrane (ShaliUrethane LHM @ 650 gm/Sqm or eqivalent) as per manufacturer's instructions. Extend waterproofing treatment up to 200mm and terminate into groov on the parapet wall.(v) Protect the applied liquid membrane bu sprinkling sand @ 200gm/Sqm over the final coating when the surface is still tacky to facilitate plastering and including 25mm thick plastering in CM 1:3 with admixture and WPC.Note 1 : Treatment shall be done through authrised representative of manufacturer's instructions. |
