COMPREHENSIVE OPERATION & MAINTENANCE of WWTP and all other allied works etc. created under the contract for a period of 1 years : including all cost of labour, consumables, chemicals, repair/replacement of E&M parts, Quarterly testing of outlet parameters etc. as required. Payment shall be released on quarterly on pro rata bases. No payment shall be made on account of any escalation of prices. Duties during O&M, plant shall be run 24/7. Adequate operators to be provided for proper plant operation. Treated water quality target should be monitored by random sampling. The scope of item includes monthly comprehensive maintenance for the WWTP including all spares supply and consumables. Electricity supply for the plant will be provided by DDA. Noncompliance of O&M requirements shall make the agency liable for recovery from the security deposit and/or BG with DDA.a) Inlet parameters to be considered are: pH :6.5-8.5 BOO :250-350 mg/ltr. Total TSS :250-350mg/ltr.COD:400-500 mg/ ltr, Fecal coliform(FC) MPN/100ml:>10**7MPN/100ml AND Treated waste water Quality shall be: pH:6-9 BOD:<20 mg/ltr. TSS:< 30 mg/ltr. COD:<50 mg/ ltr. FC MPN/100ml: DesireabIe-100 permissible-230,NH3<40 Terms and conditions:-i) All tools, minor consumables, lubricants, testing kits, etc., shall be arranged by the contractor.ii) The agency shall be responsible for ensuring continuous supply of raw water required for the operation of the STP, including water for cleaning, backwashing of filters, and any other process-related requirements.iv) The plant must be kept in continuous operational condition ensuring treated effluent meets prescribed discharge norms.v) The agency shall ensure safe work practices and proper handling of chemicals.
