| 1 | The contractor shall carry out comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for lifts, including regular examination, lubrication, adjustment, planned preventive maintenance, and replacement of parts in a systematic manner to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation, as detailed below:1. Routine Inspection & MaintenanceRegular checking of all wire ropes, chains, and suspension systems to maintain the required factor of safety.Equalization of tension in hoisting ropes and inspection for wear, corrosion, and damage.Repair/replacement of conductor cables, hoistway wiring, and machine room wiring, wherever required, with prior intimation to the Engineer-in-Charge.2. Mechanical & Electrical ComponentsSystematic examination, servicing, and adjustment of:Motor, machine, and control panelCar door operator, door hangers, and interlocksPush/touch buttons and control devicesCar frame, safety gear, and platformEmergency lighting, alarm system, lift fan, and battery backupReplacement of defective components, assemblies, PCBs/cards, and accessories necessary to keep the lift fully functional at all times. |
