| 4 | Materials and labour for Core Test on RCC members, including core cutting, extraction and compressive strength testing in accordance with IS 516 (relevant part/latest edition), using 70 mm dia core or nearest standard size as approved, at identified/strategic locations, including making good the cored hole after testing with approved bonding coat and non-shrink epoxy mortar/micro concrete, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | Material and labour for determining and recording cover depth (clear cover) of reinforcement in existing RCC structural members as part of structural audit, using suitable non-destructive testing methods such as cover meter/rebar locator, including surface preparation, marking of test locations, measurement at required intervals, identification of reinforcement position and depth, recording of observations, preparation of sketches/drawings and submission of test reports, in accordance with BS 1881: Part 204 (1998) or equivalent standard, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 6 | Materials and labour for Chemical Tests on RCC structure, using approved laboratory methods/field test kits with reagents, on samples collected from drilled powder/core powder at identified/strategic locations, for determination of (i) pH value, (ii) water soluble sulphates, and (iii) water soluble chlorides content, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 7 | Materials and labour for Half Cell Potential Test on RCC structure in accordance with IS 516 (Part 5/Sec 2):2018, using approved half-cell potential equipment to assess probability of corrosion activity of reinforcement at identified/strategic locations, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 8 | Materials and labour for Carbonation Test on RCC structure in accordance with IS 516 (Part 5/Sec 3):2018, to determine depth/extent of carbonation from concrete surface at identified/strategic locations, including surface preparation, drilling/chipping where required, application of approved indicator solution, measurement, recording and reporting of results, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | Materials and labour for assessment and confirmation of present structural condition based on results of NDT tests, laboratory investigations and visual inspection, including analysis of observed defects/distress, preparation of structural repair recommendations, methodology, technical specifications, drawings/sketches wherever required, and detailed Bill of Quantities for proposed repairs/rehabilitation works, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 10 | Vetting/review of structural investigation report from IIT/NIT or other approved Government technical institute, and submission of final vetted report in three hard copies and one soft copy through GE to the Accepting Officer, along with specific recommendations for structural repairs and technical specifications to be adopted for repair works, based on inspection findings, test results and condition assessment of the structure, and submission of detailed report as per Annex-2 Profoma 'B' attached with the tender documents complete all as specified and directed.complete all as specified and directed.
