No price adjustment shall be made if bitumen content is more than 5.5% after design mix.(iii) Rolling shall be done in three stages as per Clause 5.6.2 of IRC 111:2009 using 9 to 10 tone dead weight or vibratory steel wheel roller, penumatic roller of 12 to 15 tone and finally 6 to 8 tone smooth wheel roller. |
| 8 | M&L for preparing biuminious surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stops lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS- 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen VG 10 @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm, putting in bitumenous mecadom, well rammed and sealed with bitumen binder VG 30 @ 9.8 Kg/10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone ships 6.3mm size and rolled and compected with 8 to 10 tone power roller to required camber/gradient complete all as specified and as directed. |

| 14 | Manufacturing, supplying and fixing in repair Retro reflective regulatory sign board of size 900 mm dia meter made out of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type retro -reflective sheeting as approved by Engineer-in-charge . Letter, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC - 67 with required colour scheme on the boards and with the high intensity grade A. The aluminium sheet to be riveted to M.S. frame of angle iron of size 40x40x4 mm. The boards will be fixed to 1 No. 50x50 mm square post made of M.S. angle 50x50x4 mm, 4 m long welded to the frame with adequate anti-theft arrangement .Sheet work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint over an under coat (primer) and back side of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint including appropriate priming coat complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
