| 1 | M & L for dismantling & transporting of Power Transformer including disconnecting the LV / HV Connections, Earthing, Control Cables carefully from the Transformer installed on Foundation of 33 KV MRS Yard at NAD/INS DEGA/INS Eksila/Dolphin Hill and Loading the 2.5 MVA/3.15 MVA/5MVA capacity Transformer weighing minimum 8 to 10 Ton by using suitable Crane on to the Transporting Trolley Vehicle, Transporting the unserviceable Transformer on Trolley Vehicle to Workshop from 33 KV Yard and after completion of Repairs at Workshop, Transporting the serviceable Transformer on Trolley Vehicle to 33 KV MRS Yard from Workshop and unloading and placing it on the Transformer Foundation carefully complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: [a] Cranes used for Loading, Unloading of Transformer on to the Transporting Trolley Vehicle and Transformer Foundation shall not be less than 20 Tons.[b] Any damage to insulators / bushes / windings etc. while in the custody of the contractor shall be made good at no extra cost to the Government. The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody. [c] M & L for rewinding / re-insulation of HT / LT [Primary / Secondary] Coils, Bushes, Studs, Transformer Oil, Filtration of Oil, Cable Box, replacement of Buchholz Relay / MOG, repair / servicing of OLTC etc. will be measured and paid separately under relevant items |
| 2 | Repair / Servicing to Power Transformer of 2.5 MVA/3.15 MVA/5MVA capacity as mentioned below complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge:-[i] Draining out transformer oil in the suitable capacity of tanker / drums, old burnt oil is not allowed to reuse, old burnt oil to be replaced with new oil.[ii] Lifting, transporting & handling the transformer to the work shop and opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts / bolts / washers etc. including disconnecting core assembly from HV / LV bushing and lifting the same gently with the help of EOT crane and taking out from the shell [Container / Body] of the transformer.[iii] Visual inspection of entire Core Assembly, Transformer Tank, Core Limbs, OLTC etc., locating the fault / damages.[iv] Cleaning the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt / sludge / foreign particles etc. from the bottom / body of the transformer, cleaning and drying up the shell from inside before refilling with the new Transformer Oil.[v] Cleaning and washing thoroughly core and serviceable windings of the transformer by hosing down with clean dry hot oil conforming to IS – 336, removing deposited dirt / sludge / foreign particles from the windings / core through inspection of windings, providing insulations to leads and terminals complete and re-assembling the core including newly winded coils etc.[vi] Heating / drying / baking complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc all as per IS. |
| 3 | [vii] Lifting and refixing core assembly inside the transformer shell gently and carefully connecting Primary / Secondary / Neutral Terminal Connections to the bushings assembly, fixing of Tap changer including tightening of nuts, bolts, washers of the core to reduce humming noise.[viii] Refilling the filtered new transformer oil in to the transformer complete.[ix] Refixing the top cover including replacement of Cork Sheet / Gasket 8 mm thick tightening of nuts / bolts / washers etc. and replacement of Breather with new blue Silica Gel.[x] The inspection of transformer shall involve Checking of all clamps, nuts, bolts including core bolts & cover fixing bolts, Checking all brazing, joints, Tap heads and connection joints, Checking all jumpers, terminations / connections inside the transformer and Checking the Bulcholtz Relay / Conservator MOG if any.Notes: [a] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be include for necessary new nuts, bolts, washers, gasket all as per existing etc. [b] Supply of New Transformer Oil & filteration will be measured separately.[c] Supply of Silicagel & breather assembly will be measured separately. |
