Repair/ replacement of (existing) concrete pavement 20-30 mm wide and 300 mm deep construction joints, complete all as specified comprising the following: - (i) Raking out joints and removing sealing compound and old bituminous filler board including removal of all debris and foreign material from the existing construction joints and cleaning the surfaces intialy with wire/coir brushes and thereafter with compressed air by using compressor to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(ii) Inserting 270mm wide new bituminous filler board.(ii) Filling the top portion of joints with sealing compound grade \\"B\\" after priming the surfaces as per manufacturer instructions.

M&L for Repair/ replacement of (existing) concrete pavement 10-20 mm wide and 30 mm deep dummy joints, complete all as specified comprising the following: - (i) Raking out joints and removing sealing compound and including removal of all debris and foreign material from the existing dummy joints and cleaning the surfaces intialy with wire/coir brushes and thereafter with compressed air by using compressor to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(ii) Filling the top portion of joints with sealing compound grade \\"B\\" after priming the surfaces as per manufacturer instructions.

Note for Item No 01 to 04 :-(a) Contractor has to get sample approval within seven days from issue of work order and has to deposit 50% of material in MES store within 10 days from approval of samples by accepting officer. The makes of material shall be as per E-in-C's approved list.(b) Material will be issued to contractor by the concerned JE as per day to day site requirement at the time of execution of work.(c) The site will be provided by the users considering flying operations as work services will be carried out in manoeuvring area / Runway. Contractor can be asked to deploy his labour alongwith supervisor on short notice of time for urgent repairs on runway to carryout safe flying operation. Nothing extra will be paid to contractor on account.(d) The contractor shall quote rates considering all above points(e) Sealing compound & primer shall be of same make.

M&L for Repair/ replacement of (existing) concrete pavement complete all as specified comprising the following: - (i) Cutting the damaged, spoiled edges in concrete pavements slabs to rectangular cross section with diamond tip cutters and removal of all debris and foreign material to a distancce exc 500m but n.exc 1.0 Km and cleaning the surfaces intialy with wire/coir brushes and thereafter with compressed air by using compressor to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(ii) Priming the surface with Dencote primer 601 and filling the surface with epoxy resin Denpatch including necessary formwork wherever required in taxi track as per manufacturer instruction.

M&L for cleaning the cracks with wire brush, making the surface free from dust and applying slurry seal containing polymeric modified bitumin emulsion, fine aggregate , cement, lime (1:1:1:1) and the cranks shall be filled with the above mixture by trowel application, the size of cracks 2mm to 6mm and a depth of upto 10mm. After filling the cracks with the above compound, top surfae of the crack shall be finished with the same compound upto the width of 75mm uniformly and ensured finish of area complete all as per manufacture instruction and all as specified.Note:- No water shall be mixed while making slurry seal.
