| 5 | Procurement of laterite stones of required size (1.10x0.40x0.40m avg.) including cutting, dressing, and molding to match the original pattern and design for replacing disintegrated, disfigured, missing, eroded, or exfoliated stones. Stones shall be dressed with a drafting chisel to achieve a rough-tooled surface on all beds and joints. Includes dressing in situ against bottom and side stones to prepare for a snug fit. Full complete as directed by the Site In-charge. Sample should be approved by the Circle Office. |
| 6 | Carriage of dressed stones from stackyard (bottom of the hill) to working site and Fixing of dressed laterite stones in lime mortar (1lime : 1c.sand : 1surkhi) at their original places. Work includes filling all interstices completely with mortar to ensure a snug fit between old and new stones, bedding full in mortar as necessary, and securing with clamps if required. Includes making good any joints to seamlessly integrate old and new stone members. Full complete as directed by the Site In-charge. |
| 7 | Mending, stitching, and joining of separated or detached architectural stone members including procurement of laterite stone members. Work includes reinforcing joints with epoxy resin mortar using stainless steel dowels, cramps, or mortise & tenon joints. Includes sealing and pointing the joints with appropriate sealants, along with dressing, cutting, and molding the stones to match the profile and texture of the parent stones. Full complete as directed by the Site In-charge. |
| 8 | Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by manual/mechanical means including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved. |
| 9 | Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note: This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done. |
