All Required items for this Work Shall Be in the scope of the Contractor Including proper plastering /cementing and finishing of the wall after fixing of the DB. | 4 | PVC conduit point wiring over/through beam/wall/column/ceiling with individual control for light /fan /bell/ 6A modular plug sockets separately mounted using FRLS flexible copper wires of 1.5 sq.mm for phase, neutral and earth connection through PVC conduit of minimum size of 20mm with ISI marking, as per relevant drawings or instructions from FACT engineer. Scope of work include preparation and fixing of PVC conduits, modular switch boards, switches, cover plates,dummy plates etc, fixing ceiling roses on suitable junction boxes, modular step type regulators for fans(as required), drawing flexible copper wires of 1.5 sq.mm, connecting, testing and commissioning.The PVC conduit fixing shall be concealed.The contractor shall carry out the cutting of walls as required and ensure proper replastering after work, restoring aesthetic appearance. All the switch boards must be fixed concealed, unless asked to fix on surface. If required, holes through wall need to be made for conduit passing. For a point wiring, pipe length of 10 metres shall be considered as one point and pipe length above 10m shall be considered as one and half points and if additional power sockets are provided in same switch boards that shall be considered as half point. Sockets shall be shutter type. All the materials required for wiring such as copper flexible wires, PVC conduits, modular switch boards, modular switches, cover plate, dummy plates, PVC box for fixing ceiling rose, PVC Junction boxes (2/3/4 way) etc. shall be in the scope of contractor.The contractor can use 25 mm ISI marked conduit pipe, if required for routing and drawing of cables after consulting the Engineer in charge. The contractor shall draw 2.5 sq.mm FRLS copper flexible cable for phase and neutral conductors, and 1.5 sq.mm FRLS copper cable for earth connection from the DB to the respective switchboards, complete with necessary terminations.***For acceptable makes you may refer ST&C. |

Wiring shall be using 2.5 sq.mm FRLS multi strand flexible copper wire for phase, neutral and earth connections, through PVC conduits of minimum size 20 mm with ISI mark. The work shall include preparation and fixing of PVC conduits, wiring along wall and drawing wires as required,preparation and fixing of modular switch boards, switches, plug sockets, cover plates, dummy plates, suitable junction boxes etc., wire termination, testing and commissioning. Sockets shall be 6/16A type. The PVC conduit fixing shall be concealed. The contractor shall carry out the cutting of walls as required and ensure proper replastering after work, restoring aesthetic appearance. Individual plug socket shall be placed near Air Conditioner/ Geyser point and switch shall be at standard height from ground. The work shall include preparation and fixing of conduits and drawing wires through 20mm PVC pipe from DB to modular switch and to socket as required, preparation and fixing of modular switch boards, switches, plug sockets, cover plates, dummy plates, suitable junction boxes etc., wire termination, testing and commissioning. The PVC conduit fixing shall either be concealed. The contractor shall carry out the cutting of walls as required and ensure proper replastering after work, restoring aesthetic appearance. | 14 | Erection of earth electrodes ,earth cable laying 2 runs of 1 x 16 Sq.mm Aluminium PVC cable, from earthing pit to corresponding 3 phase DB, clamping ,connection and commissioning of maintenance free copper bonded earthling systems of DB at suitable locations .Installation of earthing system as per the specified condition mentioned above and supply of All required materials for this work such as maintenance free copper bonded earthing system approved by Kerala State Electrical Inspectorate, compressing of 3 m long, dia not less than 17 mm earth electrode of low carbon steel with 250 micron copper bonding on outer surface with associated items like environment friendly carbon based back fill compound hardware, clamps, binding wires, connection lugs, anticorrosive paint, bitumen , Sand ,cement ,Bricks and required length of 1 x 16 Sq.mm flexible Al PVC cable etc as required for this work shall be in the scope of the contractor. |
| 15 | Rerouting of Power Cables up to 4*50 Sq.mm from Existing 3 phase DB to New DB Location covering an tentative distance of 15 meters as directed by the FACT Engineer-in-Charge. The scope also includes required work for bifurcation of cable, termination, crimping, jointing, and electrical connections of the same.That is If incomer cable length is not adequate for termination in DB, cable should be jointed with copper/aluminum flexible cable of size similer to incomer cable by proper lug/ferrules by providing suitable joint box near DB. |
| 16 | Supply, fixing and servicing of 20 pair Telephone distribution box suitable with KRONE type terminals.It should include Krone Module and complete with terminal/tag blocks as required, cable glands /bushes of suitable sizes and all other required hardwares. The junction box shall be wall mounted / flush mounted as per requirement at site and with conduit entry for 1 No. 20 pairs incoming cable and min 6 outgoing cables. The scope shall include supply and fixing of telephone distribution box with all the hardwares required for the same. All spare entries of the junction boxes shall be suitably blanked. |
| 17 | Supply and concealed fixing of 6 modular box with frame and plate suitable for fixing modular type RJ11 telephone sockets.The scope of work also include supply of dummy plates for modular box and necessary wire / conduit drawal to the modular box fixed as required. |
