| 1 | Notes applicable to all items of Schedule ‘A’ (BOQ) :- (i) Contractor shall check the equipments/ fittings/ fixtures etc as per the complaints given by the concerned JE E/M / Engineer-in-Charge. Contractor shall make arrangement for collection of complaint slip from MES service centre daily for carrying out the complaints & simultaneously intimate the JE E/M once the complaint is resolved. All complaints shall be resolved within 48 hours. (ii) In case contractor fails to resolve the complaint in 48 hours except where spare(s) is not readily available in the vicinity, a penalty of Rs. 100/- per day per complaint shall be deducted until the same is resolved. The decision of GE in this regard shall be final, conclusive & binding. (iii) If repair/maintenance of any equipment/ fitting/ fixture etc shall not be feasible at site/contractor’s store inside the cantt area and the same shall required to be taken outside the cantt area by the contractor, the same shall be taken outside of cantt area by the contractor only through proper Gate Pass duly signed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 2 | Taking down carefully ceiling fans/ exhaust fans from any height and of any make and sweep including disconnecting the cable from ceiling rose and servicing, greasing & oiling, replacing the split pin, unserviceable nut, bolt, etc. and refixing the same after servicing with necessary connection complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 3 | Taking out carefully unserviceable shaft bush and S&F new shaft bush of existing type/ model for ceiling fans & exhaust fans complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 4 | Taking out carefully unserviceable ball bearing of any type/ size and S&F new ball bearing suitable for any type/ size ceiling fans & exhaust fans as per the existing standard complete all as specified and as directed. Make - SKF / TATA / NCB or as used by OEM and approved by GE. |
| 5 | Taking out existing unserviceable fan condenser/ capacitor of any size/ make and S&F connecting new fan condenser/ capacitor 2.0 to 2.5 mfd (ISI marked) complete all as specified and as directed. Make - Kail / Crompton / Tibcon / Epcos or as used by OEM and approved by GE. |
| 6 | Taking out existing unserviceable fan condenser/ capacitor of any size/ make and S&F connecting new fan condenser/ capacitor 3.15/ 4.0 mfd (ISI marked) complete all as specified and as directed. Make - Kail / Crompton / Tibcon / Epcos or as used by OEM and approved by GE. |
| 7 | S&F in repair modular step type fan regulator 100 W, 2 module, AC, 230V, electronic complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Legrand Cat No. 6755 30 or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after. |
| 8 | S&F in repair step type fan regulator, AC, 230V, electronic on the existing phenolic laminated sheet etc complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 9 | S&F in repairs step type fan regulator 100W, 1 module, AC, 230V, electronic complete all as specified and directed. Make: Legrand Cat No. 6755 31 or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after. |
| 10 | S&F in repairs modular switch, single pole, one way, 6 Amp, 1 module with all accessories complete all as directed. |
| 11 | Taking out carefully damaged/ worn out rubber reel from ceiling fan rod and S&F new rubber reel of existing size & shape complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 12 | Taking out carefully damaged/ worn out MS clamp and S&F new MS clamp with necessary nuts, bolts, washers, locking pins etc of existing size & shape complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 13 | Dismantling 1200mm sweep ceiling fan motor of any make, removing old burnt winding wire, cleaning the armature thoroughly and replacing the same with new enamelled copper wire of adequate size/gauge including class B insulation, varnishing, heating etc, reassembling, testing, refixing and connecting complete all as specified and as directed. |
