TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS and DRAWINGS OF FENCE Specifications for ROW Greenbelts: Height 1500 mm S. No. Product/Description Item 1: Fence as per drawing /assembly: All system components as below will be fitted to provide the fence as given in the assembly drawing. The installation will be done as per the civil construction details given in the drawing for grouting the fence post. 1 Weld Mesh Panels with Fitting Accessories: (a). Weld Mesh Panels: i. Weld Mesh Panels manufactured with electrical resistance welded galvanized wires and subsequently powder coated as per specifications mentioned under. ii. Weld mesh panel for fence will meet the standards of IS 1566/ IS 4849 with the following key specifications apart from the other points in the governing specification: iii. Panel size: 2500 mm X 1500 mm (W x H). Tolerance of plus / - 2 % iv. Mesh Size: 50 mm X 150 mm (W X H). Tolerance of plus / - 2 mm. v. Weld Shear strength: Minimum 50 % of the breaking strength of the smallest wire (In this case the vertical wire) vi. Mesh Wire: Galvanized MS wire Horizontal wire, Dia. 5.0 mm ( plus /- 0.05mm): Vertical wire, Dia. 5.0 mm( plus /-0.05mm) Tensile Strength of wire: Min 500 N/sq.mm: Specification for wire: IS 280 vii. Galvanizing of wire: 100 – 120 GSM as per IS 4826 (Measurement as per IS 6745) Uniformity of Coating: As per IS 2633: Adhesion test for coating: As per IS 2629 (1985) viii. Powder Coating: The galvanized panels are subsequently single powder coated after welding with a thickness of 60 to 80 microns. ix. Powder Coating Make : Akzonoble / Jotun. x. Color: RAL 6005 (Military Green): Coating Standard: EN 10245-1/ IS 13871 xi. Other coating requirement: Powder coating should withstand 720 Hours of salt spray test as per ISO 12944, 1000 hrs of QUV-B Weatherometer Test, Adhesion test, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy Test (Type Test Certificate for the coating standards from renowned Laboratories clearly indicating that the coating passes C3 or higher corrosion protections standard is to be submitted by the bidder along with technical bid). xii. Refer drawing of Panel, attached herewith. 25 mm pointed wires should be left on both sides (top and bottom only), V-band range: 100 mm to 110 mm xiii. Qty: 400 Panels / KM (c) Mushroom Head Bolts with security nuts: i. Each Omega clamp shall be supplied with two sets mushroom headed bolts with security nuts and washers. ii. Material: SS 304 iii. Size: M8 X 25 mm (i) Qty: 3208 nos. / KM Fence Post and accessories (a) Fence Post i. Type: Square Section. ii. Specification: IS 1161-2014 (Medium Grade) iii. Outer Dimension: 60 mm X 60mm plus /- 1 % iv. Thickness: 2.60 mm plus /- 10% (Medium Grade) v. Length: 2000 mm plus /- 2% vi. Galvanization: 380 GSM vii. Powder Coating: The Fence Post are subsequently single powder coated. viii. Colour: RAL 6005 Coating Standard: EN 10245-1/ IS 13871
